My boyfriend and I have been discussing about when a guy stops being a twink. I personally think if the guy physically still fits the definition, then he's still a twink. A guy can be 30 and still look like a twink. And to me, he might as well be a twink.

My boyfriend thinks once you turned 23 or so, you're too old to be a twink.

So, does it depend on age or looks?

Complicated question. Mostly I'd go with whatever people tend to classify you as. It's not so much about age as what age people perceive you as and what bodytype you are.

Once you start going to the gym because you have to, then the games up.

One time, I semi-dated... or more like fuck buddy with a twink. Hairless, thin, tight ass, pretty face, a hint of fem, etc. Everything you would expect from a twink. I knew he was older than 18 or 20. But I was very surprised when I found out he was closer to 30.

I think one of the hallmarks of twinkhood (twinkdom? twinkiness?) is lack of, or sparseness of, body hair in the teen years. It's a genetic thing. You might then conclude that "once a twink, always a twink."

Well, sometimes. I do know a couple guys that were hairless up to their first half of 20's but then became gorillas afterward.

When they ask The Wizard for courage.

Porn seems to have a shifting idea of what a twink might be.

This really. When I was underage, and had to sneak in all my gay porn, I was told that twinks were between 18-19. Once you hit 20 you were no longer a twink. Times have changed apparently.

IMO it's when they become mentally mature enough to realize that they have more to offer to someone (and themselves) than being a glorified sex object, and that being a twink isn't their only redeeming asset in a relationship. That being a twink doesn't make them better than everyone else.

When as a question of time? 25 is pushing it. Im done with being a twink at age 27.
