Yesterday - I met the guy i'm dating at the gym, we worked out together and then got a bite to eat afterwards :) I wouldn't call it romantic but it was certainly good to see him again as always!
 
If you go by the dictionary definition of a date, then I've never been on one.
 
i dont know about the whole date thing... the public outing date can be tedious.

If I trust someone enough to want to ask them for a date, I just invite them over for dinner. It is more intimate and alot easier to get to know someone that way.
 
Hmmm... that does depend on your definition of 'date'. I would say four weeks ago, though apparently I was the only one who was aware of that fact. For the other guy it was a meeting of friends (even though he made the first move towards an actual date... long story). ](*,)

The last mutual date was almost nine weeks ago. That was successful, though a repetition hasn't happened yet.

It was a few nights ago.
It was a guy I met online. We had been hooking up and the sex was fun. But he wanted more and I just wanted to be fuck buds. So he said it wasnt going to work out and stormed out of the resturant. I still dont know why he made such a big huge fuss since we had only gone out a few times.
 
last weekend.... have another one on saturday with the same guy. he's pretty cool. bit early for a victory lap yet. but we had fun last week.

He first paid his share. Said we were looking for different things. Then he stormed out. It was weird because I never ever led him on. So I dont know why he acted the way he did.

I don't think that I've ever really been on a proper date.

All the people that I've ended up dating all started as fuck buddies before turning into a relationship, so there never was a dating period.

Thats probably why they all failed as well.

Last time I was on a true date was 1995.

I ended up moving in with him, and proceded to have the next eleven-plus years of bliss. That was, until he cheated on me.

We broke up in 2007, and I have not dated since. I have been out with friends, but no formal dates.....

Besides, I think I may be getting a little too "long in the tooth" for that stuff anyway...

17 years ago. I still tried to convince myself I should have a girlfriend. Enough said.

Now I probably won't bother dating any more.
 
4 weeks ago. initially we met on bear-411 and chatted back and forth and then we lost track of one another. later on he found me on grindr. and picked up right where we left off. it was a sunday evening i was in the mood for a margarita and asked him he wanted to join me for one. he accepted and suggested a tex mex joint out in the king william district. when i got there i was really impressed, he looked very handsome and told me i was just as handsome. we had dinner with margaritas, lots of great conversation.

we ended up being the last ones in the restaurant as they closed. we settled up and left and while on the sidewalk he told me he wanted to hang out. i agreed and we walked down the block to an open patio bar. we found a table and had a couple more beers and just kept on talking. we sat across from one another and he would reach to touch my knee and i would subtly rub my leg against his.

as the bar closed for the night he walked me back to my car and when we got there he gave me a kiss goodnight. it was a good one. so much so that i pulled him back and gave him one in return. i told him i wanted to see him again and he agreed. he asked me to text him when i got home.

i drove home in the highest state of giddiness i think i've ever been. when i got home i text messaged him and we stayed up chatting until 2 am. that was the best date i've ever been on in my entire life. i had so much fun.

nevertheless it turned out to be another first date that went no where. i tried a couple of times to set up a second date and we even managed to get something 'planned' for tuesday last week but when i tried to nail down a place to eat he never replied.

this past sunday i messaged him one last time and he told me he had just been too busy. we went from mutual attraction to, well i honestly don't know what we went to. oh well. at the very least that one night was awesome.
 
Our last date was room service in a hotel in Vancouver by the sea, followed by back rubs, wine, and naked fun time. It was awesome!

(this applies for couples as well, right?)
 
Tonight actually. We went and got thai food. Since I didn't nap before our date, I napped after. He kind of got ticked at me but we spooned for like an hour and then he left. I appologized for that but he knows I am pretty much exhausted on friday from working all week. I am a night person working the morning shift which sucks.
