When you cook, do you clean as you go along?

Perhaps I have OCD or something, but I just can't stand a dirty kitchen. And I hate people who cook and make a mess. That's why when I cook, I clean as I go along. Once I'm done using something I don't just toss it to the side...I wipe it off, I put it in the dishwasher. I hate messes!

If i'm making pasta, I start cleaning up the kitchen while the lid's on and the sauce is cooking.

Always clean while I cook. I mean, you have time to do it while stuff is cooking, perhaps we're both OCD.

When I cook, it usually looks like a bomb went off. Even worse when I'm baking.

It depends on what I'm cooking. Sometimes I cook several things at once and don't have time to clean as I go. I also don't have a dishwasher so cleaning takes a bit more effort.

I have done both... depending on if I have a bunch of guest with me while I am cooking...

I prefer clean as you go because after your full of food and some nice wine...the last thing I wanna do is dishes.

I feel the same. Just, at the end of my meal I'll was my dishes and silverware. That's a piece of cake.

I don't hate work so much. I hate anticipating work.

I pretend to be really clean, but I wash dishes only when I run out of clean ones.

I'm not a clean person, but I play one on JUB;)

Now, don't ask me about dusting. If you can't write your name on a table, it's clean. I have similar philosophies about vacuumimg and changing sheets.

I try to clean as I cook, but I'm a bit ADD, and sometimes have two or three things going at once. I like to be done with the pots and pans once I sit down to eat...

I try to but it doesn't always work out. If I just scrambled an egg, for example, I make sure I immediately soak the bowl and the fork I used.

Sometimes I do. Most of the times I just clean it all up in the end, after I'm done cooking and eating.

Always. It's important to prevent cross-contamination when preparing food, that all is hygenic and ordered. Also, nobody wants to clean up a big pile of dirty dishes at the end, and who can be motivated or inspired in a dirty cooking area? And what if a guest walked in and saw a dirty kitchen? What about their appetite?

I usually clean as I go unless I have to cook multiple things at once.

No. I do most of the cleaning after I have eaten, watched some telivision, and etc...
