  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Where did common sense go?

You can easily cut open the cases along the edges of the spine with a razor blade or exact-o knife, where the plastic is very thin to allow it to bend.

Ah yes. I believe you'll find it at the back of the cabinet, filed in between 'Personal Responsibility' and 'Good Manners'! :D

Reminds me of one of my favourite phrases:-

"Everyone is entitled to be stupid - I just wish some people would stop abusing the privilege."

I will miss common sense. I keep him in my heart and think of him daily.

Thanks for the post.

you rent movies still

wow i just download

watched the queen this week

helen mirren was good.

i thought i would be bored silly but the movie was good

An example of how we care about comom sense......and not caring about ownership of creative property! Downloading illegally movies and music!!!!

People seem to think that years ago, people were somehow smarter. Had more "common sense". Nope. We're all just as stupid as we were ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred years ago.

Ten years ago, people opened the "door" on their video cassettes, and seemed confused that the tape didn't have visual pictures on it.

Twenty years ago, people felt ripped off, because when they flipped their CDs over, there wasn't music on the back.

Fifty years ago, people tried cooking their TV dinners, but didn't take them out of the box. Some poor souls probably just placed them on their TV and waited for them to cook.

A hundred years ago, people sent the Sears catalog back to Chicago with certain items circled. "These, please."

Technology changes. Stupidity is eternal.

This is the best post of this thread.:=D:

ewwwwwwwwwww

Sears sucks

damn why did they have to buy eatons and ruin the eaton centre.

No it really isn't a young vs. old thread again.
It's a when did people stop caring about each other thread. I look at the men and women my age driving their SUVs being over booked for time everyday and it makes them think ME FIRST I HAVE SOME PLACE TO BE. I'm more important than you because I have KIDS.
I was in FLA recently and saw , much to my horror, parking spaces dedicated to parents!!!! When did having children become a handicap, because these spaces were right next to the handicap spaces.
)aybe if mom or dad had to find a space like everyone else and then walk into the store from out in left field someplace, little Johnny wouldn't need a tripple bypass by the time he's a senior in highschool! Just a thought.
Parents are afraid to parent now a days, it so much easier to whine and get a law made to make their lives easier.
Quick someone dig up Common Sense and staart CPR again. We have to them!!

COMMON SENSE HAS NO AGE -
WHAT IT LACKS IS FOLLOWERS WHO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS INVOLVED.

AND ALL THE SCHOOLING IN THE WORLD WILL NOT HELP YOU ACHIEVE IT.

IT IS PART OF THE MATURING PROCESS FROM CHILDHOOD AND IF NOT DEMONSTRATED BY THE PARENTS OR OTHERS, YOU CAN JUST ABOUT FORGET ABOUT ACQUIRING IT.

random thoughts of the local village idiot on the subject.](*,)

I've been saying this for years. Common sense is an abnormally because everybody is so stuck on stupid these days.
