  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Where did you get your pets?

My roommate (yes, just a roommate) has a westie. He's cute but a big pain-in-the-arse.

I would so very like a hedgehog, but they don't live to long and I don't want to bury something so cute so soon.

I've said it before, I'll say it again....

gay men and their pussies !!

ironic isn't it?

I got my dog and one of my cats through the newspaper.

The lady who gave us our dog was pregnant and was afraid the dog would jump on the baby and hurt it, so we adopted her.

Our one cat we were given from a family whose cat had a litter of kittens.

Our new cat walked into our home one morning. Fortunately, she had no fleas and was clean.

I'm off to sleep. Night, everyone.

Got my cats from my animal shelter! love them all!

I got both my snake and gecko directly from the breeders, whom were both very involved with the animals they raised. I was even able to meet and handle my snake's sire. Of the lizard, I had hundreds to choose from and spent about an afternoon at the breeders facility looking over them until I found the perfect one.

My first cat came from a shelter. After I had it declawed, its personality changed completely, and everybody was scared to death of it. It lived 17 years, and although it wasn't the friendliest cat in the world, I bawled like a baby when I finally had the vet put it to sleep for health reasons.

A couple months later, I got another cat from the same shelter. I took no chances and did not declaw this cat. The result? This cat has never even hissed once in 5 years, everybody loves it....and my furniture is completely destroyed.

You can have good furniture or cats.

We are on our third generation of slipcovers.

Go girls. go.

My dog was from a craigslist ad coincidentally and the owner was moving cross country and I basically rescued it from a shelter. He is a pure breed also and it only cost me $250 for a 2 year old. I love him more than most people.
My cat was from a litter that one of my friend's friend had and I took her for naught. I am not a huge fan of her (cats are such drama queens) but she grew on me. I have her mostly to appease my fag hag who is basically a "crazy cat lady".

I got my cat from my sister's cat's litter. I later returned the favor by giving here a kitten that showed up on my doorstep. My cat just refused to let it in my house.
