Your comment got me to wondering how it compared with Albuquerque. Before I left in 2017, the crime had become a significant issue. As it turns out, Norristown has only 1/5 the assault rate, 1/2 the murder rate, and less than half the burglary/theft/auto theft rates. Curiously, the robbery rates are the same. Maybe New Mexican have more to steal as residents, and the robbery rates are all about liquor stores and convenience stores and addicts or thugs.
