I live approximately 15-20 minutes east of Pasadena, California. I live in a canyon against a National Forest with a seasonal creek that runs behind the backyard and a river that runs through the canyon. I'm around an hour by car from the Ocean, 4 hours if I want to use the bike trail. And I have some awesome neighbors. If we get several days of rain (which is rare), we get waterfalls all around us. And the wildlife is always a pleasure to watch.

There was a fire last summer on the top of the left hill. That is why the brush is much thinner at the top.
