Which Are Some Good Sites to Meet Guys?

I haven't been having any luck either, though it's been only a couple weeks. How long ago did you open your account?

Personally, from my experiences with these sites, I have fairly low expectations, but it's still good to know of a few through which maybe, just maybe, I can actually meet someone I like.

Skip sites that are "hamstrung" where you can't respond to profiles without a subscription or sites that have silver gold etc members you can't even see - outpersonals, gaydating, manplay for example...totally useless! Love how they send you emails about interest notifications then you try to click and it takes you to subscription page.

I'm sorry but I pay too much for internet already...I'm NOT signing up. And chances are others aren't either so you aren't missing much.

You hit the nails (plural intended) on the head. These comments should appear in a warning box at the top of every webpage and email message of these types of sites, just like the warnings on cigarette cartons which are bad for both your health and your pocketbook. Sites that operate in this way can be bad for your mental health (wasted time, aggravation, dashed hopes) and your wallet (endless spending for little to no results).

I've had profiles on manhunt and adam4adam, I generally think there are more guys on adam4adam, and since it's free I recommend it over manhunt.

Um I like made mine like two and a half weeks ago. But then again I am not really pro-active when it comes to dating sites. I usually only message guys if they've messaged me first or if they've indicated interest in some other way. Like the "I wanna meet you" button on POF.

I usually try to browse profiles and message a few guys. But even that doesn't seem to make things go faster. I don't think many of the people on these sites are serious -- or even real in some cases.

It's sad to hear gay.com went down the tubes.

I met my first bf on planetout.com, but I think that merged with gay.com at some point.

I met my current bf on www.clubsilver.org. It's a site for older/younger relationships.

Both of my relationships were long distance initially. My first one was an hour and a half, but we ended up moving in together after a few months (which was way too fast) and my current relationship is 3 hours, but I'm trying to move to be with him because the whole reason why I even expanded my search that far was because I wanted to live in his city. Thankfully we see each other every other week or so for a couple of weeks at a time.

You may have to expand your search, but obviously long distance isn't for everyone.

Good luck to everyone searching for a guy and try to make sure you meet the guy within a month if not sooner so you don't waste your time on some flake.

Silverdaddies isn't bad though. But yeah you do have to pay to really use it. I'm not really looking for anyone but I like to learn about different sites, places, and people

That second part is the real reason. So many of the same people on the more well known sites. Sites like dudesnude and probably club silver have different people
