Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

^ Woeful indeed from Arsenal. So woeful it's difficult to draw conclusions.

But Nani, Anderson, Evra and Carrick all caught the eye.:=D::=D::=D:

Let's hope ManUtd and Chelsea get drawn together in the next round.;)

Barnsley v Boro at Wembley for the FACup Final?

J. Is that a balloon in your pocket? Or are you just excited?:D

J. You should be excited now, balloon or no balloon. Next stop Wembley for the semi-finals?

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

thats stupid saying no real footie fans support chelsea and man u, yea loads are on the bandwagon but there a loads which will follow them even if they were in division one or something.
I followed man u most like life, and yeah i recon they will get the title, they will beat Aresnal and then Chelase will also beat them, just a matter of winning at Chealsa for man u really.

Cristiano. Be a good boy and go to bed.

You should not be staying up all nite diving into questionable websites such as JUB.

And don't forget your English class on Monday, 9 AM sharp!

^Very good.

Sorry for your result, J. I missed the action this weekend - bachelor parties and work - and just caught scores both Saturday and yesterday. Interesting upsets on Saturday; annoying results for both you and me on Sunday.

The title race is hotting up in the Premiership.

Any one of 3. ManUtd, Arsenal or Chelsea.

greaves has received an end-of-tax-year financial bonus.

Which team should he put his money on?

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

I'd say that you should definitely not put it on Chelsea. I don't think they've got the big players to really stand out. Arsenal have Fabregas and Adebayor, and they'll need to hit form to break this rut they're in. If Adebayor or Fabregas were on form, Boro would've lost. We defended like lions, but still...

I was gutted about their goal, actually. Total rustiness from Andrew Taylor, he got in Schwarzer's way. I thought it was a bad move bringing him on when we were fighting a desperate battle against a team attacking like that. It looked like Schwarzer was gonna get it, but I guess that's just our luck :P

As for Man Utd... well, Ronaldo's on form, but the rest of the side isn't, haha! Rooney's not playing like we thought he should, Tevez can't get into the side for some reason, Giggs can't keep up anymore...

Without Ronaldo, there's nobody in that side willing to stand out.

Incidentally, Boro should just play Aliadiere for the first 30 minutes. That's when he scores, haha! After that, bring on Alves or Mido :P

Wow - what a cracker at White Hart Lane last night! I thought it was all over at 4-3, and may have sworn quite a lot at the time and rather loudly.

Alas, no such luck in the other game.

Incredible result. I'm disappointed that the game that was on the TV we have here was the Man Utd game. So dull in comparison, and Bolton didn't deserve to lose.

Yep. Absolutely right J. Sky got it completely wrong. Anyone with any football sense should have known the Spurs-Chelski game would be a must-see live game.

Go to a sports site of your choice today. Which game are they all talking about?

But Sky have got it all covered this Easter week-end. And even then, the most exciting game might well be Portsmouth v Spurs...

I'd have thought, with it being the 'rematch' of the carling cup final which was won so dramatically, they'd have even publicised it a bit.

Or rather more accurately Spurs v Portsmouth as the game is at WHL.!oops!

And a shame, that due to some odd rule, Defoe will not be allowed to play.

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

I joined in on BBC606, saying that surely the FA shouldn't have to get involved. Surely it's something that should be written into the contract?

The funny thing is, this happened because Everton were loaning Tim Howard, then played Man Utd and lost because of a screwup from their stand in keeper, since they'd agreed not to play Tim in a 'gentleman's agreement'.

There was a bit of an outcry about it, the FA decided to step in. What did they do? They made sure that what the outcry happened about would always happen, and they basically damaged a lot of teams' possibility of victory.

I think, when the player and both teams are all fine with him playing, I don't have a clue where the FA come into this.

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

I cannot believe I'm going to miss the whole UTD Liverpool Match. I so hope we hand UTD their asses on a plate and Arsenal get out of the slump they are in.

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

Super Sunday has arisen!

greaves wants both the away sides - Arsenal and Liverpool - to win. That will make the title race even more interesting.:D

But he is not putting any money on this happening! ;)

Re: Which Club Is Going To Win The Premiership Thi

greaves does not normally comment on games in progress, but Steve Bennett, the referee at OT this afternoon, has been a disgrace, and probably, in the process, has handed the Premiership title to ManUtd.

Good to see Andy Gray on Sky speaking out, but of course Sky then went very quickly to a commercial break. Jamie Redknapp, sitting alongside Gray in the Sky studio, echoed his performances as a player: ie useless.

Info: Steve Bennett was the 4th official at the Spurs - Chelsea game last Wednesday. He admits he saw Cole's horrendous challenge on Hutton, but could not interfere as the referee, Mike Riley, had made a decision.

The game is over. Is Andy Gray in the Sky studio with Redknapp? No.

No wonder the majority of real football fans in the UK hate ManUtd.

Thank you. You've just made a great day even better. Your one-eyed bitterness is most enjoyable.
