  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Which jubber would you most like to date?

Yes, Ram! I think you've hit on the problem with this thread.

When I first posted in it, way back when, I actually gave it some thought, and decided "here are some people that it might be fun to go out with, and this is what we might do". It was fun to think about.

But the thread has (in part) dissolved into the "nobody loves me" routine. Instead of listing who people might like to go out with, and what they might do, we have people scanning the list for their names. That wasn't the point. I haven't read through the entire thread recently, so I can't recall if anyone put me on their list. And frankly, I don't care if they did or didn't. Yes, it's flattering to be named, but again, that wasn't the point.

So to all the posters who are in the "nobody loves me" pool, I'd like to challenge you to follow the thread.

Post which JUBbers you'd like to go out with, and what you might do on said date.

Do NOT play the "nobody would want to go out with me" card. Get out of the self-pity pool and give it some serious thought.

Who would you like to go out with? What would you like to do?

I'm interested to hear the responses. :)

Lex
My dear Lex it another fun filled popularity thread what do you think we are going to do? Having your name on someone list has the feeling that you are liked here not having your name has the feeling that if you left JUB no one would really care.

Is it? Perhaps it is. But I'm still interested in the answers.

Particularly yours.

Huzzah! That was kinda the principle on which I started this thread. It's not so much about your favourite Jubber, more about what you'd do on a date with that Jubber. Basically, things like what you think you've got in common with other guys here, what you think you'd both enjoy.

I would like to go on a date with Circa Infuria - cause she has some really interesting stuff going on inside that head of hers and that always really intrigues me.

The setting for this would have to be a reasonably quiet yet a friendly atmosphere - a couple of wines wouldn't hurt - so I can delve into her mind and work out what makes her tick. I think I could listen to her thoughts for a good long while - and whilst I may not agree with some of them - it would be a very educating evening indeed. ..|

So what you're saying is that you're JUST attracted to my mind and not my body? ](*,)](*,)](*,)](*,)

**looks crestfallen** Damn, all these hours spent on hair and makeup and this fine ass outfit.....useless. :p:p :rotflmao:

I kid. ;)

Well, I had no idea that you found the idea of finding out what makes me tick so intriguing, Pringle. Come to think of it, I don't think I've had anyone tell me that before. Actually, I find that refreshing to hear. Usually most guys want to find out what's underneath my clothes and couldn't give a care about what's inside my mind. #-o

I am honored, thank you! (!) (*8*)

And yes, the date sounds lovely. But you forgot to mention the best part.

After dinner and wine, we will recline on a fainting couch underneath the silver moon and star-lit sky. You will lay in my lap and I will carress you and feed you chocolate covered strawberries while you tell me what makes YOU tick.

Then I will kiss you lightly on the forehead, turn you over, and give you the whipping of your life.:twisted:

Now come on, you think you could actually go on a date with me without getting whipped?? :p:p:p:p

ok lex, i hear ya. i'll put mine up here and stow my fear of rejection since it's all fantasy anyhow and not likely to happen. lemme see...

absolut
bowling and/or a baseball game. maybe both. either way i think we would be two goofballs laughing way too much and making fun of other people who are obviously not as hot looking as he and i are.

andreus
a nice dinner some place with a great coffee bar. i think we would do a lot of deep thinking and talking some really trashy talk.

bradlee
i would love for him to give me a tour of the campus. i can only imagine that there are a number of cool places we could sit down, dine and trip snooty students.

brijan
we've already discussed the ideal date! indiscriminate shopping for neat-o clothes and fancy belts! we'd go driving around in our VW's and ultimately end up at a spa for facials!

centexfarmer
we seem to like going to bars and yakking it up and flirting with the wait staff and the go go dancers. we'll have to come up with something new for the next time!

jlukes19
we'd do a walking tour of new york city and go by parson's and then go looking for dan v of project: runway season 2!

jwest
an afternoon at millennium park. maybe a tour of the museums. but most definitely we would have some sort of a dinner party where i would just let him go hog wild. i would have to insist on cupcakes for dessert however.

luminum
we'd hit all the comic shops in the area and flirt with all the cute counter guys.

midnightprism
ooh... wine and dine. the sky's the limit.

mike-n-herrin
we'd go for a nice hike somewhere. of course i'd need to take along my own tank of oxygen since i'd probably collapse after awhile from exhaustion. sad, i know.

okstatecowboy
most definitely dinner and a movie. then we'd go chasing on of those crazy kansas storms as it tracks across the state.

quasar21
my one and only cyber hubby. we'd go take in a show in london then find ourselves some place nice and romantic for dinner.

robertac
simply put... fine dinning, excellent wine and some wonderful cigars. but i would insist on tuxedos because something tells me he's very dapper in a tux. very 'george clooney.'

saebuffyboy
i think an all night pub crawl would be super fun. start with dinner around 7 pm and then hit the town going from one spot to another until the wee hours of the morning.

sinfulsimon
my favorite museum here in town is the mcnay which is mostly 20th century contemporary and modern art. it's a great collection with works from van gogh, gauguin, pollock, picasso and okeefe. i would love for him to see it.

springboksfan
i have never been to a hockey game in my life and i can think of no better person to go with. we could get totally into the game and then pine for the good looking hockey players. or at least the one's who still have their teeth.

and last but not least...

texpatriot
we would put on our 'gay liberal democrat' t-shirts and storm the state republican convention and pelt the politicians with fruit imported from mexico!

now all the poor bastards i've named can effectively hang their heads in shame for being singled out by yours truly!

You mind if I make it a threesome? :p

Maybe we could see a good basketball game before dinner! :D

So is this a "sex date?" :badgrin:If so, I won't embarass him by mentioning his name because he's in his early twenties (don't worry... he's an unknown, not a "top poster). Otherwise, there are too many to list.

I think my body is horrendously overweight. However, I think my eldest brother is incredibly in shape.

How is it, then, that I can fit into his jeans?

I know I'm not in shape, all I've got to do is take of my shirt to prove that, but sometimes you're not as bad as you think you are.

Most people will say they are overweight even if they are 160 pounds.

*sigh* Snap the hell out of it.

You have personality from what i've seen, you have a man that cares very deeply about you, and all you seem to care about is that your look isn't what is perseved beautiful by the gay masses? ](*,)

Honestly, sometimes, i'm very jealous of the friendships and relationships here - yours included. Just be thankful that you have one, and even moreso, that you're not a fucking faceless paper doll like some men - pretty, but useless brainless objects.

Of course my looks aren't what most gay masses would consider to be beautiful, especially on JUB.

I feel exactly the same way I'm beyond jealous about some of the friendships on JUB. I am thankful that I have a small amount of people who enjoy talking to me.

As for the rest, I agree totally. You've got someone now Brandon, you're doing better than I am, even though I pop up on quite a few of these threads. Did you know I've never been on a date? The one person who I've ever called my boyfriend, never seemed all that fussed on me. I mean, he makes a cool friend with benefits once in a while, but beyond that, he didn't really feel like a boyfriend.

I've never been on a date either, I've only as you would say hooked up for sex one time, I truly never been on a date. I wouldn't necessarily call the first time meeting Tony a "date" more as a old friends meeting for the first time.

That sounds awesome!

Sounds like a plan to me! :gogirl:
