Who´s currently in your Buddy List / Ignore List?

The JUBers I'm closest to are on my buddy list; there is no one on my ignore list

On my buddy list: JASON0980 and The_Pianist. Because they are beautiful, interesting, and wonderful people.

On my ignore list: no one. Because I haven't yet had to block any of you lovely people.

Robertac, you could never be on my ignore list!

My buddy list has aarya, Christopherb36, JASON0980, Just: Mills, Nonimus and ozguy. My ignore list is empty.

I created my buddy list only very recently .... I think there are about 17 or 18 of you on it so far. I've avoided doing it up till now, as the number of guys on here whom I consider to be good buds far exceeds 17, and I didn't know where to start!! Anyway, I've made a start now and I intend adding to it.

I have noone on my ignore list, but there is one Jubber whose posts I can no longer be bothered reading, because he's basically just an attention seeking dickhead.

My Buddy List is public - And those are the JUBbers I speak with the most..
A couple people on Ignore, but they don't need to be mentioned.

Nobody on either list. Buddy lists are gay and ignore lists are lame IMO.

I have some people on my buddy list, but my ignore list is empty. I use the ignore list when I have to. There are one or two assholes I like to block out now and then.

What is the purpose of the buddy list anyway?

The ignore list seems rather cowardly to me. I think if you have multiple people on it, it probably says more negative things about you than it does about them.

A buddy list is just an easy way of keeping your favorite jubbers on hand so you can send them messages or read their blogs. It saves time. The ignore list is not cowardly at all. When you have a jubber that follows you around at every thread and tries to pick a fight, it's best to put them on the ignore list. Why allow someone to ruin you enjoyment of Jub when you can ignore them? I don't ignore people who disagree with me or have a difference of opinion. I just ignore people that harass me. It's a wise and sound thing to do.

I've got two people on my ignore list. They've both massively offended me, and thus I don't wish to read their opinions, lest I start another argument. They've lead me to hijack threads and I hate doing that, so I'd rather not even look at what they say.

If I post their names, it'll only cause another argument. Trust me, if you've not had a massive disagreement with me on here, you aren't one of the two. I had another one on there, but I realised he was right on the topic, so I unblocked him, and we've made up.

On my buddy list, I have four guys I really like.

Elvin1
The_Aviator
DutchECK
JASON0980

Having been chatting to Elvin via PMs, he's a really nice guy, and probably the person I know best over here.

The Aviator I first started talking to because we're really near each other, and he found it was really rare to find a local Jubber - he hadn't before. Sadly, he hasn't been on here in a while, and he doesn't really log into MSN either.

Dutch is somebody I don't really talk to via PM but some of the in-thread discussions we've had have been really good fun, so he's in my list.

Jason is on for similar reasons to Dutch.

There's so many people on here I like that I couldn't add them all *hugs all around*

my buddy list is public! If ya wanna be added, do let me know, sometimes i don't pay attention to who adds me

no one is on my ignore list.....yet

I haven't added anyone to my buddy list (yet). I will not add anyone to my ignore list. I think it's a useless function. Just because you weed out what someone who, in general, disagrees with you or says things you don't like, doesn't mean that there won't be more people who come along and say/do the same thing.

I agree.

Because you can just ignore them, skip their post. You don't need a 'button' to ignore some one.

I thought that, but I was wrong. If I see a statement I disagree with, I will always reply to it, and the problem is that the debate gets off topic. Therefore, I block them, and people's threads remain intact. It makes it a lot easier to ignore what they're saying, if you really can't see it.

Lets put it this way;
Is it easier to ignore someone if you don't ever see them?
