  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

On Topic Discussion Who Are These People Overseeing Us?

I'm not offically the moderator for that forum - Centexfarmer is... [,,,,] As for Public Relations, that's my work background so....

Go to Fetish about 2X week so haven't a clue. But the veil is lifting....

NOTE: When a person who happens tto be a MOD acts AS SUCH could they CLEARLY so indicate.

In an electronic world, the main office is just a click away. JUB Support [Powered by h2desk help desk software] is your direct line to Central Office on jub. Any queries to Staff goes there, for instance paid subscription to JUB for supporter status, etc.

Staff looks after JUB's core stuff like the forum database the background updates, etc.
Admin oversees day to day board issues as well as helping iron out technical issues board members are having amidst their mod duties.
Mods do the day to day stuff others have mentioned.

WRT the System, he likes to party.

As for the CE&P forum, well, let's say a lot of drama goes there... The three mods there are perhaps the hardest working folks on JUB. We can all be passionate about stuff, but politics transcends usual objective reasoning and above all courtesy and manners, so there the three mods try and help the members come down to earth and rethink their verbal jousting.

As for fetish, lol, as the former mod for it, I'm afraid I cannot unsee the stuff I saw there, but me being vanilla too, some of the stuff you just have to look at with an open mind. I'm sorry Centex :luv: got lumbered with it, but since he also mods ce&p, it must be a welcomed break to see a different kinda shit being smeared there.....

Thanks srar warrior. Are you a MOD? What do you do. In what Forum are you responsible. I hear CEP but am not sure.

NOTE: I am not trying to br obnoxious but my legal training overrides indolence.

Star-warrior used to be a mod. Asians represent!

That's ok palbert, my sister's a legal exec, and she's a blunt as a rusty nail.

I left modding in Oct/Nov 2010 to spend time with my young son and looking after my mum, her health was failing (kidneys were packing in). I don't regret that decision, she passed away in Oct 2011, so I'm glad I was able to spend our time together when she was declining.

Who are those men behind the curtin?

okay, i have to say something real quick.

i wrote about a blog entry which took me an hour to write. i clicked the post blog entry button and for some reason, i was logged out. i go to the auto saved feature and 1/4th of what i put up was there. :grrr: WHAT THE FUCK, MAN!!! i'm pissed. ya can't fix that for me? is the whole entry gone? i really poured my time and energy into that shit only for it to be deleted. that's fucked up.

Anything that important, I write off-line and then cut & paste to post.

If it isn't there, that recommendation ought to be in "JUB For Dummies".

YOU don't know where the office is?

THey only tell you if you have to be sent there for being naughty. :p

And when commenting as a JUBBER and not in any way as a moderator the moderator moniker is unnecessary and, frankly, intimidating. [e.s.]

I'm afraid I can't agree with this at all. It is a description under an avatar.

YOU don't know where the office is?

I was going to say that I don't need to - it's not like I have to go there. Of course I know where BluMedia is based.:)

Or more likely this....

BluMedia LLC., Inc: Private Company Information - Businessweek

BluMedia, Inc. also known as IntenseCash operates web portals. It promotes several fetish and gay sites covering a variety of topics including female body builders, shemales, and twinks. The company is based in Northglenn, Colorado.

Form over substance. okay.

Exactly! JUB will have moderators whether they announce it or not, and since they are a great resource for other members, we will know who these volunteers are regardless of whether their avatar has a description or not. Hiding this description is exactly that kind of substance-free gesture which would just make JUB more opaque.

It's good for new members to readily know who they can turn to for assistance, and I like it to, though I have never really engaged with them outside the normal discussion of a thread.

Thank you Gentlemen for discussing this. I feel this has festered (not the uncle) too long. Keep discussing. But my conviction is fixed.
