  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Who doesn't know Abercrombie & Fitch here?

I think any gay man with a nice body can pull AF off, it's one of those things. But half the time, I avoid gay guys like those.

MO is if you can pull it off then go for it. I mean, if that guy would have approached you would you still have gone for it?
Hot guy, gym body, mid 30's... Hells yeah!

I wear them and I'm 48 but I doubt anybody notices what brand I wear. What I wouldn't wear at my age and would look ridiculous is their logo wear.

we dont have abercrombie here and most brands here dont stick their name across the front of their shirts

I agree. none of the clothes i own for A&F or Hollister or any of those kinds of stores have their name splashed across them. I find them tacky on people of any age.

A little embroidered birdie, or what have you, I have no problem wiht. however wearing some company's name in letters two inches high is just wrong.

There is certainly a point in one's life when you need to dress appropriately for your age. A&F is marketed toward the younger crowd and I know at 37 I would look ridiculous in most of their clothes. But I do pick up the non age specific clothing at Old Navy, such as jeans and shorts. A&F has always seemed a bit pricey for the quality in my humble opinion.

why not just make it illegal for people over 25 to wear cool clothes

ooooh

i know

we can put people down at the spca when they hit thirty to make cruizing for dick at the mall easier for the real people

thats a plan

I still wear some of the older stuff from time to time. You know, without the logo smeared on every square inch.

But I will not buy any of the new stuff, and I agree, I'm a bit old for it anyway.

I do believe in dressing age appropriate. But some people can pull clothes off better than others. A&F is too expensive for the quality of the clothes and the fit.

Having said that, I have a friend that wears A&F all the time, and she's in her 40s, but she likes that sporty baggy look herself!

I used to buy stuff from A&F and Hollister, but it's getting old for me too...crap I'm old...lol.

How bout, if you are 24 but look much younger, can you still wear them a little longer?:-)

mrs slocombe and her pussy could wear abercrombie if she can afford to buy the crap

i mean

buy the fine garminks

i may suprise you here...

i dont really care much what strangers think of me

as long as i feel FABU who the hell cares

I agree here. It depends WHAT you're wearing from there. I would say a logo tee would be out of the question, but if it was like an oxford or something then it would fine. 24 as an age limit!? That seems a little young, but maybe a say that 'cause I'm 23 and don't feel to old for it at all! But then again I look like I'm 16. I was thinking maybe 30 as a limit?

Yes, the banana would be better for "the older gentleman", depending on what your price range is.
See, you're doing the same thing! You don't like the idea of an age limit near yours and you can't imagine that at 25 you might not look ok in AF. So why are you suprised that men at any age think that they are an exception also?

I think the key here is to be really honest with yourself and if you can't be, then ask for an opinion from someone close to you.

Oh my I must be getting old now, clothes that come with a wear by age?????

No, the clothes don't come with a wear-by-age.

Some ages don't think some other ages should wear them.

I think they're known as the A & F Nazis.

Or, Fitches.

"No shirt for YOU!"

Ok maybe my post needed a few of theese:rolleyes:  at the end.

I can't wait until those some ages guys become the other age guys it should be funny to watch???

No shirt for you Next!!!

AF is one of the few stores that have clothes that fit tall, in shape guys. I look far better in AF than the 20 year old, over weight guy. I don't wear the stuff with their name all over it, but I will wear the polos, dress shirts, etc. Remember, had it not been for guys like me, AF would not exist for the 20 year olds (they would have went out of business years ago).

No. There is no age limit. It doesn't matter how old you are. If you have the body and the right shape then so be it. I don't have the body for it now. However if I get the body I want at 35 or 40 or older. You better believe I would wear it if I could.
