For a function with the Queen, the President would get an invite; they're top dogs.

For a function with Charles, the Veep would get an invite; they're second dogs.

For someone who's two generations from the throne... it's not regarded as a state function on an international level.
 
I won't be watching, as was said in an earlier post Wills has lost his looks which lost my interest- i know that's shallow, but it's not like i know him or anything. and i can't belive 2 Billion people are going to watch this, how do they know?
