who's gonna have the worst buyer's remorse?

Florida Cubans who voted Toad can fuck the fuck off back to Cuba. :rotflmao: You thought you were white people, didn't you?

^I think they forgot that they are still a minority within the United States. The Hispanic community seems to have allowed the prejudices and class distinctions from their home countries color their relationships with their fellow Hispanics. Many thought they came into the U. S. by playing by the rules, as opposed to their fellow undocumented countrymen trying to escape lives of desperation. It turns out that Trump is making no distinction, that none of them belong here as far as he is concerned.

Kind of like the con Trump pulled on the white MAGAs. They voted for him because they wanted him to screw over "those people," only to find out to their dismay, that the orange turd includes them in that "those people" category.

Cubans basically got a free pass because of the Cold War. And no question, a lot of them were the ones connected to the money and power supported by the US.

Yet oddly that no longer seems to be a thing...unless you have 5 mil and want to buy a Trump Card.

We also have witnessed that Cuban American refugees do think of themselves as a special class and aren't very sympathetic to people fleeing violence in Central or South America.

Awwwwwwwww.

Add Georgia to the list.

A major newspaper in Georgia reported Wednesday that it's witnessed a major decline in support for Donald Trump among MAGA and independent voters. The finding is a big warning as it comes from a battleground state essential to the Republicans' path to future victories...

...If only candidates informed voters before the election...

Senate Republicans

...During an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday morning Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) served notice to Donald Trump that he is joining with some of his Republican colleagues in the Senate to reclaim the right of Congress to set and approve U.S. trade policy by pointing out that the president has overstepped his his authority...

Cry me a river...

You know what's truly irritating? They just had an opportunity to do that and declined.

They'll fuck it up somehow and only cement Trump's power over trade.

For decades Congress has been ceding power to the Executive because they are too lazy and corrupt to do their job.

This is all weeks and weeks too late. If Congress had stood up to Trump when he tried out his 'emergency' tariffs on Canada and Mexico, none of this would have happened.

Instead, the House, bent the rules into a pretzel shape to permit them to be imposed without a time limit.

And a lot of GQP members of Congress have profited handsomely off the chaos that Trump created in the markets.

Here we go. OPEC is increasing production again, and Toad thinks it's a good idea. I wonder how much Saudi Arabia is paying Jared this time.

...Oil prices will fall on Monday due to the OPEC+ news amid trade tensions and concerns about economic growth, said UBS's analyst Giovanni Staunovo. "We continue to call this a 'managed' unwind of cuts and not a fight for market share”, he said...

...RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHTTTTTTTTTT...

Add Exxon/Mobil and Putin to the list.

...While the entire U.S. could be affected by these tariffs from all sides, there's one state in particular that could be disproportionately impacted: Texas...

Add us to the list, but not me. I did everything I could to stop the crazy. I'm not remorseful, I'm fuckinig disgusted with the fucks in the State House of Exxon/Mobil and the people who put them there. I know all of you will be shocked to learn that nary a peep has been heard from any of them about what the Toad they elected is doing to the economy here. Not a fucking word.

A lot of them will make a fortune personally betting against the US.

Only when the actual loss of jobs and reduced consumer spending begin to hit their bottom line will they move to make TrumpCo. bail them out. Like always.

Part of this is to bring Canada to its knees because our filthy dirty tar sands can't compete with cheap OPEC crude.

Trump really played one hell of a con on the Hispanic voters, getting them to turn against their own countrymen. It's turning out to be one terribly costly lesson, indeed.

It wasn't a con. Toad told them what he was going to try. They just thought they weren't mud people and were on board with fucking over "those people."

People who've never spent a lot of time around Latinos don't realize just how much racism there is in some of them.

The irony is that for all their support, they are all just illegal criminals to Toad and the Christofascists. Someone needs to sit them all down and explain that they are not White people here.

I think you're right. A lot of the higher class Hispanics identify with the sophisticated European set, like the Spanish, and they look down on the largely indigenous campesinos and the largely black sugar cane harvesters from the Islands. What they've forgotten is that, while they may see themselves as white, that is not how they are generally viewed in the United States, and certainly not by the Trump administration.

I never thought the leopards would eat our faces.
