Watch some telenovelas and you would know that is completely false. David Zepeda is one famous example. Latinos and blacks seem to wear mustaches? What decade are you thinking of? The 1980s?

Even famous Latino celebrities don't have mustaches. Get out of your stereotypes. You do it in CE&P and you do it here too.

Blacks and hispanics are often featured as criminals in cop shows and the news, and they almost always have mustaches. It has created a stereotype which individuals might want to avoid if they are concerned about being "underrated".

(@digitalfudge)^ I know it's sad. I know it is a mess. But at least I was honest about the facts.

And yet more stereotypes. What shows are you watching? Cops from the early 1990s? Get with the times please. ...

OMG; I'm agreeing with you for once!

I was told that the Pres. Clinton administration secured a private agreement with Hollywood to enforce a quota system with African-American actors given be authority roles (playing judges, doctors etc) in their movies and TV shows.

Agreed. Well, I've never seen a telenovela but even a quick google search dispels that particular stereotype. Indian men in the public eye have overcome "Third World Moustache Syndrome" quite some time ago. Even the middle east is coming around.

You are missing the point. The thread asks why Indian men are underrated. I suggested that that the should AVOID THE STEREOTYPE by a clean cut look. When GC said Latinos are underrated, I made the same suggestion. If as you say, indian men and hispanics in telenovelas are shaving, that confirms my suggestion that they should avoid the old stereotypes, as the movie stars do.
It continues to be true that the Black and Hispanic criminals in police shows and the news tend to have facial hair, making it more advisable to avoid the stereotype. It was a constructive answer to the question.

On the other hand, sensuality and sexuality in western europe and north america are painted on a canvas of personal freedom (no arranged marriages; open expression, even exhibitionist expression), and that ethos of freedom does not accept grooming yourself to fit someone else's standard of attractiveness.

That was more to do with richard gere,s comments than anything else , and you did a pretty good job of tripping yourself up there
Their culture is as oppresive as Saudi-Arabia , BUT they have very vigorous pelvic-thrusting in their dancing .
May i suggest some education and a magazine clip defo does not count .

Before you post anymore such Drivel .

No need aggresive tone, macho boi ;)

I know they're fucking wrote kama sutra and they have transvestite cults, I watched it in Taboo. Even though, the-t still considered outsiders...
Here's a thing, many asian cultures are passive-aggresive that including Indian culture. My barometer of sexual liberty-standard lies to Dutch and western Europe countries..I mean we know how open they are.

So when I see India and its custom, it's mild, not wild. And OP refered to Indian men..of course, in culture dominated by men..then the man will be on top chain and they're not supposed to be objectified but thanks to Bollywood hunks and the ever increasing exploitation of men sexuality. Bollywood men are going Hollywood.
But beside of that, India is still very traditional.

joswan my apologies if you thought i was being aggresive , you are right about the Tranvestite`s , they are publicly shunned
yet many Indian men who consider themselves straight will and do use them as prostitutes .
Again m8 i was not having a go at you or your post . Take care (*8*)

I'm missing the point? You are the one that's missing the point. From your xenophobic anti-immigrant stances in CE&P, it doesn't surprise me you're now bringing that hatred into this thread. I wasn't even talking about indian men. But I know plenty of Hispanics, and gay ones for that matter, to know you're full of it. Go take your rants somewhere else please.

You just don't understand.

I don't generally prefer one nationality over another, but I've spent quite a bit of time in India and some of those guys are so charming I've developed a bit of a fascination with the men of India. The beautiful dark eyes are a major drawcard for sure.

I'm Indian. Personally I believe anyone with colored skin is underrated.

Because many Indians view kissing as a sexual act. It's bascially vaginal penetration of the face. Even I get uncomfortable when people kiss in public. I have been brought it with the mentality that kissing is just too sensual.

I will try my best to get India to write an apology for you.

What has the caste society got to do with people looking good? In case you don't know, there are Indians outside India (Bender, myself and sadly JayQ) and I am sure we are included in the discussion.

There are no such things as true natives of India. India is a diverse place with many ethnic and cultural groups. The people of Assam, Sikkim, Ladakh and various Mongoloid races would love to disagree with you.

Oh. No. Way.

From now on, instead of "Shut your trap," I may have to say "Shut your face vagina!"

"I'm just going to have a quick swish of mouthwash before we run out the door" is now "A quick douche of my face vagina and I'll be right with you."

and

"Shit. I bit my tongue and now my mouth is menstruating all over the place."

or "I think that rogan josh was bad. I was up all night delivering face babies into the toilet. One time it felt like a caesarean."

And last but not least, "I dare say you have centipedes in your face vagina!"

^ :rotflmao:.

Bankside, I suppose it won't be difficult for you to imagine a cunt in place of a face; all you have to do is look into a mirror.

there are a lot of beautiful Indian girls, like the Indian girl in the episode NEW GIRL. But Indian boys? I'm not so sure.

"I mean it's one thing to be kissed. Even a little french kiss would have been okay. But he was practically fisting my face vagina."

- Shilpa Petty on Richard Gere.

just saying. i rarely hear anything about indian men on here or anywhere on the web for that matter. i hear more negative things about them than positive from people. i've seen some sexy ass indian guys that are jaw dropping. i'll go as far as to say that white men in general are overrated like a motherfucker too. i've seen some average to ugly looking white guys getting way too much credit. like george clooney or ryan reynolds for example. those guys are slight above to average looking. the way people hype them up to be drop dead gorgeous is funny. brad pitt on the other hand shits on them both yet they're put up there with him. matt damon is another overrated guy. i can name some other guys like that robert patterson guy from twlight and even the other guy taylor lathner that go in the average looking category. they're okay looking especially the robert patterson guy. had dude been indian, black or asian, people wouldn't say shit. michael jordan is one good looking, sexy ass guy and his ass never was put onto the sexiest men list. that's someone who is underrated. it's almost like a dude is getting extra credit simply because he's white. you know, i just don't see the point in giving props where it's unwarranted.

Right I agree with you on some celebrities being given too much credit,

But on the topic of indian guys, speaking as someone from a country with a way higher proportion than yours I'll give you my insights.

Firstly I find some indian men stunning, but there are very few in sport, or arts, or music, or tv, or film, so the sheer list of indian celebrities that are big in the west is low, therefore less celebrity crushes.

Secondly, they're never out of the closet here. Birmingham pride this year was a CLASSIC example, it was busy, heaving, and despite the fact that 30% of the population is south asian, and only 9% black, the rest white, I saw 6 south asians there, plenty of black guys and girls, majority white obviously, but a healthy mix between white and black and plenty of mixed race people (almost entirely white/black mix). Family pressures are WAY stronger in that community than others, and generally other communities don't snoop on each other.

To be honest, I find most celebrities that are raved about whether they're white black or anything else to be overrated. Ryan Reynold's doesn't do much for me, neither does will smith, neither does robert patterson, neither does Denzel, neither does Heath ledger, neither does michael jordan, he's a slaphead after all, I prefer my guys to have hair (regardless of race). Brad Pitt is always placed on a higher pedestal than the other two you mentioned, although Clooney is a bit of a housewives' favourite, the maturer male lol. Brad Pitt is a tad hit and miss for me, some films I think he's really hot, others he doesn't do that much for me.

I'm fussy with celebs though.
