Why can't white gay men just admit they are racist?

May I suggest that it is more a matter of ignorance than denial and anger. The idea that white males enjoy privilege and power is not easy to swallow for most of us white males. I usually have to work with a group in an anti-racism workshop for about two days before I do an exercise called "Running to the Wall." Then some will turn and realize, OMG I really am a raciist, and I have had a white privileged life. It is a really rough moment not just for the whites in a large room, but especially for the black who can see how far they are left behind in that exercise.

Some people write me about every three months or so, just to reflect on that exercise in group building and teaching about racism. It is an eye opening moment. But only a small percentage of such men will ever have the opportunity to even attempt to do the exercise. It is a tool I use carefully and without a lot of preliminary talk in a workshop. It needs a lot of experiential preparation.

For that I am good for nothing. I get nothing for doing such workshops for I do them gratis, which means I want people to know I have no monetary agenda. So sometimes fellow JUBbers as you already guessed, I am just plain good for nothing.

Black comediennes make fun of white people all the time and they don't complain. Also, if the gay mafia is so powerful like you claim why is gay marriage illegal and why can't gay couples adopt children in some states? Also, why do gay actors have a hard time of getting straight roles in Hollywood (Ian McKellan is the only one that I can think of who can get good parts).

Don't know what you were discussing before, but I don't think people are racist if they don't find a certain race attractive.

I agree with you, I was just making an example that white men can actually Enjoy the company of black men and that we don't just stick with white people.

I hang around non-white people more than white people.

At my college I mostly hang around with black people.

But you know what's strange, I don't necessarily find Asian or black MEN (there are a few exceptions) attractive, but I do think black women and Asian women are beautiful and I'm gay. I wonder why that is.

I find some people of every race very attractive.

I also find some people of every race have a face that only a mother could love.
