Or so it seems in porn vids anyway, both straight and gay. Is this the general trend amongst black guys of wearing socks whilst fucking, esp white socks, and if so why? Is it a fetish or is it some sort of phobia of feet or what?

Or is it just a weird stereotype (and if so, why?)

I do see socks more in porn with black guys. Maybe it's cold in the room, maybe it's a fetish. But I wouldn't go as far as saying it a preference for the black community. I kind of think that some of the cameramen or producers of the pornos has a thing for socks and it just shows throughout their scenes. I've met a couple black guys who like their socks on, but I've also met a couple white guys who like to keep on boxers. Neither seems to be the norm.

I mean as a couple on here have stated, I do see the sock thing much more commonly on black guys in porn (straight and gay) and was simply putting it out there if others have noticed it and if there were any possible theories why. That's all really, no offence or racism or stereotyping intended, just a genuine observation of YEARS of watching lol!

I mean I've only ever slept with one black guy and I have to say that wasn't much of an issue with him, I cannot recall him ever wearing socks. Though it was also an issue that I never discussed with him.

Any more views on whether it is a fetishistic thing for hot black guys to don white socks while fucking or if there is another way of looking at it would be greatly appreciated :D
 
it was a rather sarcastic response, yet a response. it probably is some kind of stereotyping. as the arab guy has to wear a fez or some of those arabian looking dresses (i don't know the proper name) black guys are often stereotyped as "thugs" in porn. and maybe that's why they keep their socks on .. idk. i consider both to be silly, i want to see hot guys having sex, no matter which race. some "prince of a 1001 nights"- or "thug" acting usually ruins it for me.

Adaptation to your surroundings and diet is a scientific fact. If a full-blooded Irishman moved to Los Angeles, he would sunburn and have a pretty uncomfortable time in the sunny, much drier climate. Conversely, take someone from a warm, sunny climate that's on, or South of the equator and move them to somewhere more temperate like the US or Europe, and they're gonna be a little cold.

Thanks that's better! I mean I repeat I am genuinely interested to know if people have noticed that and have theories that's all!

The thing with the fez stereotype is 1) it's part of an old cultural heritage and 2) it might be seen as kinky. Yet people know Arab people just don't go having sex with fezzes on standard lol!

This is different with the socks debate, and I think the "thug" theory might be plausible. Although I'm sure thugs take their socks off too once in a while...

In response to the cold theory, I don't really buy into that. If the guy is born and brought up in a traditionally cold community (e.g. England where I'm from) then his adaptation to climate will be the same across the board for all ethnicities. The cold theory only really applies to people from hot climates who have suddenly found themselves shooting porn say in London lol!

I have noticed to as well, and it honestly is an annoyance. I have also noticed that if not socks, then they'll go a step further and keep the shoes on too, but they'll be butt naked otherwise. Worstcase if no shoes or socks, they'll have a hat on. I have never understood this. If your willing to be butt naked, go all the way and BE butt naked

My sense is that culturally, there may be a sense of feet being unattractive, offensive somehow...even though you have fully erect junk and your ass and hole are showin...hmmm.

Really? So you've been watching Black porn-flicks for years & you assume "The socks" thing must be a cultural thing...In the same breath you say Arab Pornstars wearing fezzes while Fucking is certainly not standard for your Culture..

You need to STOP allowing Porn-Flicks to cloud your judgement...The Fact that you even had an epiphany moment about "Black culture" while watching Porn is sad in itself......

I think the poster that speculated they may be wearing the socks because there is something wrong with their feet is probably ON to something. A lot of black guys were probably raised in an era when, for one reason or other, never got to wear shoes that actually fit them properly. It the; "If the shoe fits (or at least kinda fits) wear it!" If you spend a lot of your life wearing shoes that don't fit, your feet WILL suffer because of it.
Another factor that probably plays a role is just NOT bothering to take the time to care for your feet. Clipping your toenails properly and all of that.

I personally have a lot of black friends and I can tell you for a fact, most of them have feet that look a lot worse than mine. And most of them are 5 or more years younger than I am. Another common problem is teeth. A lot of my friends never took care of their teeth....so you can imagine.

The third thing that may be a factor is that they are so hyped up about having sex that they just don't even bother to take their socks off. I've done this myself...too much trouble to take the socks off unless you're going to do something that involves the feet/.....
