Why do guys prefer not shaving down there?

I'm a young guy, 21, relatively inexperienced. I have come across guys with hairy asses and dicks before and it's really a turn off. Yet I come to this forum or any other forum and people always prefer guys to keep their body hair au natural. To me it's not a turn on when I'm rimming a guy or going down on him and then, surprise surprise, a piece of ass hair gets stuck in between my teeth. Of course that's only hypothetical, but my point is still valid. Hair in your mouth is a turn off. Yet older guys love hairy men. Can you explain?

PS. Shaving your ass is a motherfucker .

Some people aren't that high maintenance and its all preference.

Its mostly aesthetics that play a main role and everything else is just a pro and con of a man's choice (to shave, or not to shave).

Everyone is different so the point is that a pro to someone is a con to another and vice versa.

Personally for me I like the intimacy that can come from a shared shaving experience with a partner.

That’s my roundabout way of saying I agree with you.

Thats because some guys prefer what many consider "manly" men, to me personally, I don't like my guy to be doing anything with any hair anywhere, except trimming the pubes. Totally smooth guys remind me of girls. Guys who are too done, too much into fashion, too pretty, too trimmed up, etc. etc., is just not manly to me, I grew up with tonnes of straight male cousins, so I guess that's where I get this from. Furry asses or all natural is sooo hot to me. And I have tonnes of female cousins, and I realllly don't want my boys to be looking like them, neither do I want them to be spending that kinda time on their bodies.

Cleaning up is one thing, but to go completely bald, yuck.

i agree with tadaa trimming is fine but totally bare is a turn-off

I'm an older guy, and frankly when I'm going down on, or rimming another guy (regardless of age), I like them "shaved."

I'm really not interested in having "tongue" sex with someone where it feels like I'm giving a cat a "fur bath."

But at the same time, if the other guy has completely shaved, I feel like "I'm doing nasty things" to the "naughty bits" of someone who hasn't entered into High School!

*shudder*

Shave your balls, trim around the base of your cock, AND then STOP!

If you find a guy that isn't "smooth," then explain that you prefer "shaved" over whatever. ..|

I'm younger than you and I prefer it when they don't shave. It's just a matter of taste.

#1 ... the "maintenance" of it is usually not kept up... meaning that when going down there and it's all stubbly... GROSS ... seriously... who wants to make out or rub their face on a cactus?

#2 ... It kinda looks ridiculous... especially if you only shave your crotch/ass and leave the treasure trail and leg hair... I mean when looking at that it looks like hair hair hair...then a bald spot... then hair again.

#3 ... Despite what has been said... shaving does NOT make it look bigger... it actually makes it look smaller because the visual dynamic is comparable to someone who hasn't reached puberty yet thus not making it look "adult sized"

#4 ... Body hair is seen as a progression from childhood to adulthood... the lack thereof (especially pubic) makes it look as though you have not matured/ achieved adulthood yet.... thus branding you as something of a child still.

#5 ... with regards to the pubes... when I'm sucking cock I'm not usually sucking a guys bush which means I'm not getting any hair in my mouth.... if you have a hairy cockhead then maybe you SHOULD shave... but otherwise a mans most sensitive part is his head not his bush.

Those are MY reasons for being completely and utterly turned off by any male that shaves his pubes/ass.

some reasons I don't shave/wax.

-I've hit puberty

-My partner doesn't like boys. He likes men

-shaving is a BITCH. Too much work and it itches like no other once it grows back.

Thanks for the helpful response. Honestly I don't get the "looks-like-a-teen" argument. You have eyes. You're obviously screwing an adult. If you like the guy enough to get to the naked stage, then why would shaving/no shaving stop you.

I never did get how men who shave everything look like 12 year old boys/girls to some but women who are practically required to shave are never compared to 12 year old girls/boys

Love me as I am or leave the coins on the dresser and hit the fucking door.

Why is this attitude rarely if ever applied to women? I'm not asking Elvin1 specifically but what he said, just seems to me should be applied to all not just men

I think that shaving down there is a turn off. I don't find it attractive. I don't like it when it looks all wild and out of control either. I think it looks best when everything is nice and trimmed. As for body hair, I don't really mind if it's shaved or trimmed or natural but I do prefer natural. I know there's some people out there who like everything shaven but I like it when a guy works with what he's given.

Of course that's only hypothetical

Bingo!

You're point is completely hypothetical!

I've never had to pull pubes out of my teeth due to rimming a hairy ass or sucking someone off with a full bush!

If a guy is naturally smooth, then that can be quite a turn on.

If a guy has a naturally hairy body, then that's the way it should be.

I will say, one of my preferences is when a guy has 'peach fuzz' on his ass. That's the hottest thing ever! I'm not really drawn to guys with excessive body hair, but then again, if I get to that point with a guy, I've made my choice over much more important things than just body hair.

well OBVIOUSLY those that shave are not 12 year old boys.

To me (my opinion) a shaved man reminds me of a young boy. Totally hairless just doesn't look right to me.
To me a man should have hair.

If my partner were to shave it all off, I wouldn't kick him out of the bed. I do love him for who he is. BUT we would discuss it.

he actually stopped shaving his chest b/c i got tired of stubble there and because i like him better witha furry chest and tummy.

It's all about what you like.

I agree its all about what you like. Some like hairy and some like shave. But why is the lack of hair on a man forcibly makes people imagine a young boy but women who do shave are never compared to their 12 year old counterpart? Would you consider a woman who is naturally not hairless but shaves, a 12 year old who should embrace her natural self hairy or smooth? These questions are directed at you but anybody who cares to answer. I'm curious.

Chronophilia paranoia.
