Why do hetero's think gay men hate women?

Dduder, since no one on here will take our words and accuse us of "generalizing", I've come up with a plan, and I think the only way we can get an accurate analysis is to have a poll with a mix of gay men, straight men, straight women, lesbians ect and have them give their HONEST opinions. I'm trying to think of a way we can do this? Maybe make a Youtube vid and ask people? make a poll on a straight website maybe? We will never get a good answer here because the bias is in favor of homosexual males. We need mutual territory and one where all types of people are represented.

If you had this poll, most people would say that there is no difference in masculinity between straight and gay men, because people are terrified of being labeled a "stereotyper" or a homophobe. But an anonymous poll? Sure. Frankly, to me, this debate is ridiculous because it is like trying to argue that 2 + 2 = 5. Saying that gay men on average are as masculine as straight men is not an argument; it is retarded. Hence, any discussion on this topic immediately becomes sardonic. Lol......

There is a very simple experiment that anyone can perform to assertain the level of masculinity of straight and gay men. Walk up to a man you know is gay and insult his mother. Then, walk up to a man you know is straight and do the same. Repeat. Count the number of times you got beat up as a response by straight and gay men. This should prove the point. You will walk out of it with a black eye far more times for doing that to straight men than to gay men.

You can also do this with the word faggot. Both straight and gay men hate being called faggots, although for different reasons - gay men because this word is a term of contempt for gay men, and straight men because they hate people to think they are gay. You will get beat up by the straight men far more than by the gay men, even though the word is equally offensive to both. Conclusion: straight men are far more aggressive, more masculine. If this experiment doesen't convince you, I don't know what will.

Given that masculine is defined as "characteristics of or pertaining to men", and since men are a lot more aggressive than women, then yes, violence and aggression are good indicators of masculinity. And yes, a woman that is highly aggressive is a masculine woman, in the sense that she posses a characteristic that is more typical of the opposite sex.

Men are a lot more violent than women and children. But of course you know that. You are just arguing not to admit the obvious: that gay men are on average less masculine than straight men.

Honestly, I just like to argue.

But my opinion is that anyone, gay/straight, man/woman is besieged by so many influences, from commercial consumerism to spiritual independence, from patriarchal misogyny to post modern feminism, from oppressive dogmatic religions to politically correct idealism, that the average person is doing well enough if they can find time to enjoy life.

That while I am a gay man who has been lumped into a box by opinions stated as fact by majority rule, I am also an individual who freely admits I cross my legs at the knees.

So masculine, characteristics of or pertaining to men. By definition any characteristics belonging to a man, by default become masculine. Sexual orientation bears no influence on biological gender.

So back to topic, Why would heteros think gay men hate women?

I'm guessing roughly 95% of guys HERE on JUB would say "the average gay man is more feminine than the average straight man". The issue comes when somebody ramps it up, which seems to be pretty much par for the course for O & DD. I'm quoting from memory, but I believe Ody said that gay men were "a million times" more feminine than straight men. And I've seen assertions in other threads that it's exceptionally obvious who is gay and who isn't - you can tell just by how feminine or masculine they are. And I have issues with both of those statements. To use the men/woman height thing, yes, the average man is taller than the average woman. And somebody who is 6'7" is probably male. But you can't tell gender by height alone, and you can't tell sexuality by femininity alone. Unless you're the exception that proves the rule, Ody, by being the sole homosexual to pass for straight. I know at least two straight guys who pass for gay on a routine basis, too.

Well that's the thing, if they know that you're gay they might not be truthful and the whole point is to see what straight guys really think of gay men in an honest, non-pc, honest situation. Most people will not be honest about their hatred or biases if said bias is near or around. That is the point. I don't hate gays or hate myself for being gay, but I just think gay men need to be realistic. Being gay is genetic and I think that's because gay men have brains that are wired more like a straight woman's. That is all I'm saying, so don't take it the wrong way. If you have problems, take that up with the majority of society and heterosexual males.
