I have been up all night doing physics homework.

I hate my fucking life.

Also, I am convinced that physics was invented by some asshole who just wanted to fuck with college students everywhere!!!

AHHHHH

One of the reasons why I did not stay in architecture in college. SIgh.

Ah...Fizaks. It's an initiation ritual as much as anything else. You'll get through it. Find someone to help you--it's worth it.

It's a kind of modern miracle that a discipline which should almost sing with intellectual excitement and the wonders of the universe can be made dull.

It's sad.

It's what crap teachers do for you.

Kids who don't appreciate Shakespeare had crap English teachers.

I loved physics. Shit I took 4 semesters of it. 2 semesters of physics 1 2 semesters of of physics 2. Ya dat shit is tough. It one of those classes that if you don't stay on top of you can get lost fast.

That's a sad indictment, but physics is built also upon mathematics. Some people aren't so good with maths, despite the genuine interest in physics.

Yeah, I am not a math oriented person. Tell me to memorize body parts or functions any day and I can do it like a pro.
That is why I am a biology major! Whoooo
Unfortunately for me though, physics is a requirement :(

I'm a physics major set to graduate this spring, and I have friends who are bio majors that feel the exact same way that you do.

Ok if that you in your avatar then you might be the hottest physics major i've ever seen. You would completely distract me with your body in motion

That would explain it. The sort of maths/physics served up to students of other disciplines (biology, chemistry, engineering) is almost always dire. I've been agitating for years to change this (I'm a maths academic) but old ways die very hard indeed.

Physics is phun!

I've had the opportunity to work at Fermilab for a summer.

If you want some humour with your physics, read "The G-d Particle" by Leon Lederman. Who, incidentally, did work at Fermilab and was part of the group the bottom quark.

How can you not enjoy physics?
I'm with you! In High School, our teacher was a playboy bunny, and was always late to class...she was not good at getting the technical points across, but she showed a thorough understanding of them herself, the way she could fill every chalk board in the room in 5 minutes working through a derivation...

I loved the "word problems," they were sort of like a code, a riddle, a puzzle all at once.

she made the entire class buy slide rules; they were necessary for completing the exams, which she refused to allow calculators on. who uses slide rules anymore? even when I was in high school (and come on, i'm not that old...) they already seemed archaic.

and face it, i'm fascinated by the movement of objects in our universe - especially the stars and planets.

physics makes a baseball game even sexier than the uniforms do.

Ughh, why are most bio majors afraid of hardcore science??

Because they don't understand their own subject in the detail that they should. If a biologist can not understand physical principles, then they cannot possible know what they should know about biology. It all cross-covers and interlinks.

post the Q ... im hoping this is not webassign or mastering physics those are just needless and work filled to annoy people
