This just isn't universally true. There are many who saw him as being the best hope to take on the 1% and Wall Street, to make a national living minimum wage a reality and to set domestic policy and infrastructure before the military industrial complex.

He has had a major influence on the platform of the Democratic party...pushing it farther to the left than many would feel totally confident with in the conservative American environment.

As an independent senator, I think his voice will even be louder and stronger now.

Jesse Jackson is reading a speech in a very bizarre way. There's no sentences or paragraphs. It sounds like ramblings of a senile citizen.

Jackson is party royalty due to the coalition's history. He may have been unable to deliver the speech, but there was probably no stopping him.

I disagree with the attack on Sanders' followers. A few are fringe, but I respect the stance the lot of the made for their candidate in the past. I pray they will stay the course and press for the socialist changes he promotes, and it is inherently true that to do so means opposing Trump.

He's quite a charming man, and respected for the most part. If his son Beau hadn't passed away from cancer last year, he'd have been a viable contender for president.

And, this is still just the "ramp up" to tomorrow night!!

I don't think ANYONE can claim this election season is short on Entertainment, to say the least, from both sides!

No Mikey, i'm watching it in my bedroom were i only have freeview tv, so have to watch it on C-SPAN, I could watch it downstairs on SKY TV but i'm too tired to be sitting up.
