Windows 7

I was ordering parts for a Mediapc and decided to upgrade the memory on the desktop PC to 8 Gb - so now it is on to a 64bit OS. Haven't decided yet - I was thinking Vista 64.

But.. if Win7 is so hot I suppose I could use RC1 until the final version comes out in Oct.

I would use Win7 RC1 until October. Vista is fine on that much power, but Win7 is just an experience.

Been running Windows7 at work for months now. Had to hack some proprietary software to get it to install and run, but once that was done everything works like a charm.

I'll be installing RC1 this week.

I may *gasp* actually buy a M$ product. But don't hold me to that =]

Installed RTM today - spoof went perfectly.

I installed the RTM on Friday and it's working beautifully. If I actually want to pay for it, I can get it for just $30 because I'm a student. They are offering student pricing of $30 if you have a valid student e-mail.

Yup. I signed up for that. I'm going to buy it and dual boot 7 with OS X. (what can I say, I know a good OS when I see it, and I like the best of both worlds)
