Winter's out!

The only bad thing about pretending to be stupid is that your detractors jump on the opportunity to believe it.

It's not easy to make puns in languages I don't even speak, especially the dead, unspoken ones.

:p

I'm having a high school flashback: "Latin is a language, as strange as it might be. It killed the ancient Romans, and now its killing me." :D

Are you kidding? I feel like kicking you in the balls right now.#-o:p;)

I'd like some of that 59 degree San Diego ''winter'' you deal with..I'll trade you the 10 degree ones we get here in Pa..

Kind of the same here in CT, although the snowpack has gone from about 2 feet to 6 inches with some bare lawn finally showing and the street curbs starting to reappear. It's been in the 40's and 50's for a few days now.

I tend to think of Spring and the passing of winter when I first encounter ladybirds/ladybugs. This year, I spotted my first ones crawling outside on the flowerbeds back on 14th Jan.
That must have been some "veranillo de San Vicente"

We're under a blizzard warning here....so no Spring weather for us.

We had one of those silly blizzards in BCN last year by this time of the year, March 8th to be exact.
That's how we get it that over here: when the worse has swept the rest of the country while we were having mild weather, then arrives a stormy connection of cold and warmer air, either before or after real winter, and we have a blast of a day. I don't remember why, but last year I was unluckily lucky to miss all the chaos in BCN and I just watched it from the den from which I am writing now as I hear the birds chirp and shops being closed because of lunchtime, and I am slightly bothered by the bright reflection of light even behind the window shades.

I used to live in Norwalk,my sister still does..She said it's been a rough winter up by her but most of the snow has melted..

I live in Pa,and we got another storm last night.Left another 6 inches.Seems like it's never gonna end..

God I hate nice warm weather between seasons: you never know what to wear and, worst of all, there's nothing available for you to buy and wear... all those pastel color and striped Hilfiger sort of shit 'n'shit :##:
