I think a seperate viable candidate challenging Obama will ensure his loss this next go 'round.

The next two years of sound bites will determine if the winner is the Dem challenger (unlikely) or a the reublican

But if Hillary or someone else replaced Obama ...... cries of racism would be heard

Motivating black voters would be extremely difficult

I do not see it happening

But it might be the best choice
 
No, the dems have to unite behind Obama if he has any chance for reelection.

And since he'll probably be facing Palin or someone equally insane, I surely do want him reelected.

I agree. But it can go down a couple different ways.

Either it is good and Obama gets credit as leader of the party and subsequently reelected.

Or it is good and the case is made that it is because the republicans stripped all of Obama's 'change' .... if that is the case then NO dem will have a shot.....their ideology would be in question as Obama is their leader. Unless someone from that side starts beating down Obama decisions now and offers alternatives and still that is no sure winner.

On the converse if the economy is still bad:

Republicans lay the blame on Obama and the Dems and then they lose both the POTUS and the Senate

The democrats successfully make America believe the republicans are obstructing any sort of movement that could make life better.


Of the four options, I think the economy will improve very slightly and I think Obama will learn what he fucked up, will run to the middle domestically and will return to office in 12.

People can like it or not and i will go on record now saying that it is not what this country needs but it is indeed what i believe will happen.

There will not be any cries of racism because no one is going to replace President Obama...The Obama-Machine will come out in a Full-Force and no one will be able to match his Money....Hillary is not going to REPLACE President Obama..Hillary is not going to REPLACE Vice President Biden...Hillary supporters still hold on to something that is NEVER going to happen...

Hillary will settle for being Sec. of State for 8yrs..Whoever wins the Presidential Dem. nomination in 2016 will Probably ask her to be their Vice President...She will turn it down....

I divide strengthened the party and gave it alll the focus in 2008. A divide on a sitting President would now destroy the same party.

Wow angry much at the failure you support? Always it is the other guys fault. We didnt support him enough when he extended the Bush evil wiretapping program? Did we not support him enough when he failed to have a cohesive plan prior to making himself look foolish by demanding a close to GITMO? Did we not support him enough when he failed to counter republican talking points on why healthcare is bad? Non withstanding that without a robust economy no business professional would want to explore idiotic new cost. Did we not support him keeping 50K NON-combat troops in a Iraq pullout? Non combat troops is like non sticky glue.

Because people are uneducated and refuse to get tested...In many cases those that have Health Insurance get DROPPED when tested positive..THANKS to the Administration's Health Care Bill that will no longer happen once the bill takes effect....

EVERY American in this Country needs to have Health Insurance..And EVERY Community deals with SERIOUS Health issues that will land them in a Hospital room even if they don't make regular trips to a Primary Physician...
