Oh great another cultural relativist dupe. First of all this isn't about "brown people." This is about Islam an evil religion which has followers of all races in the world all of which are equally evil, fanatical, sexist and homphobic barbarians. The race of these people does not stop us from criticizeing them or their evil practices. I bet you have no problem with anyone criticizeing the Christian religion but when someone criticizes the "religion of peace" you people shit bricks. The only rationality that matters is modernist rationality not the Bronze Age cavemen mentality that the Islamic world subscribes to that makes their cultures barbaric hellholes. Christopher Hitchens has been a wonderful fighter against the evil known as religion and you immediately take issue when he uses elite modern Western knowledge over a society of Bronze Age barbarism that would have you stoned or thrown of large buildings.

He is right to bring to attention the rise of a primitive religion that is the antithesis to civil rights and freedom. Just because he's willing to speak out against ALL religions and not just Christianity doesn't mean he isn't a leftist. You don't go from being a Trotskyist to a militant anti-theist progressive secularist without having some kind of leftism left to your politics. I'm not sure about his economic views though, last I heard it was a kind of libertarianism.

Thanks for the praise dear. This boy needs to go to an actual Islamic country or talk to a real Muslim and see how much they love his ass. It is just so sad that due to cultural relativism we can't even criticize homophobic and sexist bigotry just because it comes from an ethnic or percieved ethnic source.
