Hey there guys, sorry for my absence today.... I've been pretty busy most of the day until now, lol!

Anyways.... as I found out earlier, my good, warlock character is locked on Eredar for a bit longer (until august) so it seems hes staying put for now.

I'm also awaiting a final verdict from WICKED as to what they wish to do server wise, however from what I've been reading, it seems the majority "does want" to move to a more lively, vibrant server such as Eredar, yet there are still a few who want to remain on a dying realm.

As for the server type..... I don't care at this point. I've definitely had my fill of world PvP over the past 1.5 years of WoW, so RP is a nice, calm, relaxing retreat for me. There is sooooo much stuff to do at TBC end-game that I need to work on, but being as where-ever I go, the mobs are usually farmed / camped up a storm by alliance groups, and they corpse camp you to prevent you from even getting a simple +10 faction rep, lol....

LOL, q.f.t. so true so true ...I remember one time my old guild boss had a bunch of people skip out on the "mandatory" Friday night Molten Core. We had only 3 healers and he made us try Majordomo anyway. Die in about 5 minutes, wait 20 minutes for everyone to get buffed and ready again, rinse and repeat. Not really the kind of thing you look fwd to spending your weekend on.

On my server the Horde controls pretty much all the PVP objectives in Outland nonstop, so I've gotten spoiled by almost being able to count on having the buff whichever zone I'm in. The only one that seems to switch back and forth is the battle in Hellfire peninsula.

Noone seems to use the savory deviate stuff on my server anymore. Have a big backlog of the fish that I got leveling my fishing inside WC and it doesnt sell even cheap. I believe I read that you can switch the 3dsMax game models to something sexier if you don't like looking at rotting kneecaps.

lol alliance control every pvp objective on my server (excluding hellfire since thats no challenge), unless a horde group takes something over at the very "off-peak" hours when alliance children are all sleeping

We usually hold Halaa for about 20 minutes before alliance already have a group/raid formed and are attacking the crap out of it, and take it over.

The reason why I don't care if I'm on a pvp server or not anymore is simply because I don't plan to play this game "that" much longer. Maybe 6 months or so, until some of the newer games like Age of Conan, and Warhammer come out.

*Note: please don't start a flame fest between the games.... I've seen enough QQ, warhammer is a WoW rip-off posts and arguements left and right..... and the answer to that is: Blizzard pays GamesWorkshop royalties , since it was Warhammer who created all the characters / models for their board game nearly, if not more than 20 years ago. Blizzard was just the first to adapt it into a MMORPG. AND , as WoW is becoming stale, I think any new MMORPG that is decently built will be a nice retreat from it, lol

LOL, I noticed the similarity in some of the WoW art to Warhammer. Esp the orcs and goblins I think with their crazy contraptions. we used to collect some of the D & d type miniatures back in the day..when Warcraft came out I called it Warhammer once by mistake to my younger brother (who got me into it). I heard DDO has started imitating WoW with adding an auction house etc...I hear you about wanting something new, though Outland is keeping me interested for a while.

aww, lol... I actually just quit the game for good.

With The Lich King being announced, it kind of made everything at lv 70 pointless, since the new cap will be 80, and yet another grind.

I hope your enjoying Eredar! I did while I played, lol!

thats sucks alot...yeah i know what you mean everytime my gamecard expires I question do I really want to pay for another 2 months.

Then again I think the announcement for The Lich King is a obvious DESPERATE attempt to backlash against warhammer. I don't know if I'll continue to play after that is released or not. Then again I said that about LOTR:Online.....and lets just say after 5 hours played on the beta I was happy to be back on WoW servers LOL

I have a few toons, most of them alliance and one horde. At the moment my friends play once a week at his house. We're all dreanei. Mid forty's. We started playin when TBC came out.

Cant ever do allies...just not right after playing the mighty horde!

And on this realm pvp happens alot! The guild I am in (Fallen Phoenix) raids twice a week, sometimes more.

I wouldnt come to this realm unless you like geting ganked from 20-45ish...happens so have patience to level.

Also allies are blizzards best friend...look at the favoritism reguarding guards in allie towns and areas vs horde.

One level 70 alli can solo XR and look at alli towns...it take at least 5 to take daskshire.....which I love to take(payback of course...lol) and omg try to take lakeshire...those guards really did camp the gy....ouch.....repair bill flashback


And dont get me started about av bgs........way too easy for allies.

This topic resurfaced so ill repost in it. So I quit WoW for about 8 months and started playing again out of boredom. My old raiding guild split up and people went their own ways but most of them have downed Illidan already. So, cheers to them.

Im kind of playing socially on skywall alliance now. I have pretty much abandoned my 70 hunter and started working on my now 60 priest for something new. Hit me (maxpowr or sammed) up if you play on skywall but then again, what are the odds that one of "you" has a character on "my" server.

Oh well.
