wuh oh... Kavanaugh is a #metoo

From my recollection, boof was anal sex (as in "buttfuck"), boofoo was a gay guy ("buttfucker"). This was West Coast slang. Someone else might know what the fratrats on the East Coast used the terms for?

And apparently, anal didn't count as sex back then, either. ;)

Thanks to Friday's short Senator Flake encounter in an elevator with two female sexual assault victims (not related to the Kavanaugh allegations), the bouncing-on-the-rim ball didn't fall into the hoop, but if fell safely to the floor.

But that was only the first free throw, and Kavanaugh is making two free throws. The second throw (this coming Friday, or later) cannot be allowed to fall through the hoop and into the abyss.

The entire concept and marvel of America is, of course, the basketball.

I posted this elsewhere a few hours ago. I had CNN on in the background, and I was amazed to see, perhaps twenty minutes later, that somebody had tweeted that he only doesn't belong on SCOTUS, but he doesn't even belong on a BASKETBALL court if there's children around.

These crazy little "coincidences" keep happening to me. I never expected a personal "coincidence" intersecting with THIS insane chain of political events, though.

I've figured out long ago that too many coincidences happen to me (especially accelerated madly in the past four years) for it to be possible they're coincidences, because so many of these involve very esoteric and exotic things, and the really crazy "September 10 thing" was six layers deep in perfect synchronicity. I won't say more, other than it was just crazy (and it has absolutely nothing to do with politics).

Well, Trump is still true-to-form in picking completely unqualified people for the most important positions.

He's great at one thing and unfortunately that's the one.

I had hoped that was the case but Flake gave an interview saying that the elevator encounter didn't do much to change his decision. Instead, he said he was not happy with "the process" and he felt that the nomination was being pushed through over the minority's request for additional investigate.

That said, Flake has a history of being a true believer when it comes to his religious faith and his religion-like belief in Conservatism. He's probably a good guy but in the past when the rubber hit the road, he's voted with his Party every time.

"What’s the rush with Kavanaugh you say? Why not investigate? Here is why: So it is now very clear why the GOP is so desperate to get Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court by next month that they would schedule a vote before hearing from Dr. Ford or any other witness that comes forward. BIG STAKES HERE... if you check out SCOTUSblog, you will see that on next month's docket is: Gamble v. U.S., No. 17-646. Issue(s): Whether the Supreme Court should overrule the "separate sovereigns" exception to the double jeopardy clause. They are desperate. The plan was to appoint Kavanaugh early this week so that he would be seated in time for this ruling. It was in the bag. Saves everyone involved from state charges. Not only Trump but all políticos who were knowingly enriched by the $$$ funneled through the NRA into the coffers of McConnell, Graham, Rubio, Ryan, etc. So if Kavanaugh gets appointed he’d effectively vote to stop states from charging Trump or anyone else involved. And pardons then all good.
Obstruction of justice."

I don't know enough about the case, but it sure does explain some of the blind panic we are seeing here.

Dejavu, I swear you already posted this cuz I remember my GASP reaction, not gasp as in being surprised cuz that's what these men do, just gasp that we finally found the specific reason for all the hysteria.

“I, Brett Kavanaugh, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.” "Oh yeah and Cheers Bro"

Oh oh... Busted!

The woman who yelled at Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona while he was in the confines of an elevator Friday has also been vocal since then, revealing her name to be Ana Maria Archila.
She and another woman in the elevator, Maria Gallagher, have been dubbed “heroes” by many on the left.

But somehow you left out the best part, that she's a sham. Oh wait, OPINTERPH. never mind.

Yes, they still get another chance, because K. is ONLY one full Senate vote away from a seat. I was disappointed that Flake still voted the Kavanaugh process out of Committee.

If he's voted in, the Republicans still have four or five weeks to spin this whole mess...but the base is ALREADY motivated to vote, so that doesn't change much. It's all about everybody getting out to vote. If that happened, we wouldn't have this problem at all (though we may have different problems, because an "entitled" Democratic Party isn't perfect either, but hella better than what we have now).

Flake and Coons were interviewed on 60 Minutes.

Flake made a rather sad comment- that he could only have made this move and worked with "the other side" to do what he thought was best for America because he's not running for re-election. That's a pretty sad commentary on the state of politics. :##:

Sad? That's devastating. Let it sink in.... we're in bad shape and I don't have confidence we can overcome this as a nation. At least not without the fight(hopefully NOT literal) for America's heart and soul.

Not surprisingly, the FBI investigation is a total sham.

Four witnesses to be interviewed. And then the White House decides whether it will go any further.

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/29/us/politics/kavanaugh-fbi-inquiry.html

Guess what Trump's decision will be?

The leaks for these stories are coming from the FBI and the DOJ. That's an indication that they think that there's a "there" there and they're not happy having the scope of the investigation limited.

With all the people coming forward to say that Kavanaugh was lying under oath about his drinking and other issues, there's already enough evidence to make him not only ineligible for the SCOTUS, but perhaps for any position on the Federal bench. And it's probably not the first time that he's lied to Congress.

It's not clear how this is going to go and certainly the millions being poured into the "campaign" by the Kochs (aka Judicial Crisis Network) and others is probably a sign there's still more battles ahead before we know how this will go.
