Krycheck died in season 8 final I believe. The dvd menus in the UK show the clip before the menu loads so it kind of blew the suprise for me Im still pissed off about that.

Well, China mainland could only bring in 20 foreign movies every year, and there're only 3 places left for 4 2008 movies: The Mummy 3, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter 6 and Bond 22. Which means, The X-files 2 would never be considered, I really really wanna see it though, I'm a fan of Agents Mulder & Scully.

I've been watching the show again lately by DVDs, if what you've said is true that this second movie is making money, then there should be a third one to end the alien myth.

I hope they would bring back all the original cast in the third one, really wanna see John Doggett again.

I never knew that sucks hope you get to see it soon.

I heard that the guy who plays Doggett does not want to return.

haha me to I really disliked him to start I think I grew to love him in the last season though I just hated the story of his missing son it was so boring.

It was resolved I cannot remember it well though I think some psychic lead the FBI to a whole load of dead children’s body’s and one of them was Doggett son. I remember it being very moving and changing my opinion of Doggett.

I really did lose interest after a certain point. But I bought all the dvd box sets.

I dont think I ever lots complete intrest but I for sure stoped caring as much after even Scully took a back seat. It had a few jems though Jump The Shark and The Brady Bunch One were cool. The Last epiosde annoys me to hell I think it is one of the worst final epiosdes ever whoever thought they should just recap what happened with flashback ick.

The one with Burt Reynolds was all right and The Truth was not so much The Truth.

The Burt Reynolds epiosde seems to be fan fave but its on the list of ones I do not get the fuss about same with First Person Shooter. I really do not get them epiosdes and how im the only person who seems to dislike them.

I still can't see them making a third. The reaction to this movie has just been too ho-hum (some fans went out to see it, but no one else gave even half a damn), and they were lucky to have gotten this movie made in the first place.
Even if this movie does break even (and domestically it will not as far theater gross goes) it won't be regarded as a success. I would be really, really surprised if there is any talk of another X-files movie coming to theaters. Ever.

i'm so glad to see the movie is making a profit and that its still doing well.

but at the same time i'm really disappointed with the marketing of the film and wondering why the studio released it when it did. i think it might have done better as a december release truth be told. regardless i can't help but feel that the studio didn't support this film adequately.

It was odd that a film featuring so much snow was relased in the summer.

well i think that this movie could have easily been lost in what has turned out to be a big summer movie run. most of the time the art house films populate the end of the year in order to make the cut-off for award consideration. there is usually only a few 'genre' films released. i suspect that if this movie had been delayed until the winter it may have gotten a better reception from the movie going audiences.
