X-Men's top 3 most powerful women

Phoenix
Marvel Girl
Emma

Jean goes without saying
Rachel's the only one who REALLY comes close
Storm and Polaris are pretty bad-ass, but Emma's telepathy would take them out.
i think Storm has pretty good psychic defenses, but still...

storm do have good psychic defenses, i remember reading a comic book that not even prof. x can track her down when she use her powers due to that she have static elecritity all over her

of the current X-Men that are on the current teams in the comics

1. Storm
2. Emma Frost
3. Dazzler

here's the rest on the X-teams right now(Pixie, Dust, Karma, Armor, X-23, Domino, Siryn, M, Hepizbah, Blindfold, Magma, Moonstar, Stepford Cuckoos, Husk, Surge, Mercury...I think that's all of them)

but over all

1. Phoenix/Jean Grey
2. Rogue (when she could access any and every power she ever absorbed)
3. Storm

Obviously Jean Grey.

Then it's a bit iffy. On a whole, I'd say Storm, Emma and then maybe Polaris.

yeah, they make her weak and dont have power to fly. i read yesterday that X-men first class may figure Rogue, let hope that she will still have her powers plus ms.marvel's powers

1. Jean Grey/Phoenix - she's definitely the most powerful female in X-Men history. She can manipulate everything basically. She can just erase you similar to what they should in X-Men United.

2. Storm - she's my favorite X-Men since the start. Controlling the weather and creating lightning bolts is not something to mess with.

3. Emma Frost - She's only third because her primary power (psychic) were reduced when she gained the power to turn into a diamond. She's almost as powerful as Professor X.

Runner Up:

Rogue - ability to absorb other people's power, permanent flight, and super strength.

Scarlet Witch - she can create alternate reality and manipulate probability. Problem with her is she's unstable and her powers can backfire towards her.

Lady Mastermind - she can make you believe you're dying.

Aside from the powers thing, the character itself is just annoying as HELL. They decided to turn the characters into the kids from Gossip Girl and make them all emo. Rogue was a firecracker. Not all meek and mild like she is in the movies (as is Storm  )

True, Rogue was one southern belle that u dont wanna fuck with!!! so is storm, she is not the one you dont wanna pissed off. i love halle berrry but her as storm sucks, storm dont stay in the sideline to wolverine and jean grey

1. Phoenix/Jean Grey
2. Storm
3. Emma Frost/maybe Rogue debatable

But I think Phoenix/Jean Grey followed by Storm is obvious

In regular conditions she already has a certain degree of resistance against psychic attacks. I read she has this mental shield or something. It's not that powerful but still grants with a certain resistance.
Now, I also read about that trick she does with static electricity around her that makes her pretty much immune to psychic energy so...if Prof X HIMSELF can't EVEN detect her, then no one else can do anything.

Lol! True. They're like the Holy Duo of X-Men. You do NOT want to mess with those two.
And it's funny 'cause they're best friends, like sisters and both omega level mutants...ironic, isn't it?

Exactly!!!

Interesting at least...

I always identified most with both of them too.

Me too. I guess I have a very bipolar way of functioning, I identify myself with them and their struggle NOT to lose control and keep their powers and emotions in check...otherwise, hell breaks lose. The underlying symbolism really speaks to me.

Wow, same here. I guess that makes three of us. As far as people who are mentioning Rogue and Scarlet Witch, while they are awesome in their own respects, Rogue has to be close to someone to really do any kind of damage while Scarlet Witch's abilities are rather finicky.

Jean Grey
Storm
Jubilee

just kidding
Jean Grey
Madelyne (I refuse to acknowledge the knock off)
Storm

Jean
Storm
Kitty

The reason I put shadowcat in 3rd place is because I think she MIGHT be, or become an omega level mutant at some point, which will make her essentially omnipotent. *Can you tell im a fan?*

Her name is Rogue/Wanda, and she still pines for the lost days of her idyllic childhood in the backwoods of Mississippi/the countryside of far off Transia. Tragedy consumes that childhood one sunny afternoon/smokefilled night, and she finds herself homeless and on the run, until Mystique/Magneto offers her refuge within the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The Avengers/X- Men become her enemies, which feels wrong somehow, even as she testsher newfound mutant powers in battle after pointless battle. The life of a super-villain unsettles her conscience, and in time she rebels against her ruthless mother/father, finding a new life with the X-Men/Avengers. A different kind of loneliness awaits her, though, as she loses her heart to an enigmatic thief/android whose flesh/soul she can never truly touch.

Rogue is forced to touch the Scarlet Witch in X-Men/ Avengers the Gamma Quest Trilogy Book 1 by Greg Cox.
