Your Death

Yeah! I think about my death far more often than I used to, when I was "Young" and Steel Hard Invulnerable!

These days, there are more times that I contemplate hastening it, as though my smoking, and drinking, haven't already contributed to that.

My thoughts about the preparations, following my exit from this planet, are a simple cardboard box cremation, plastic bag vs. urn for my ashes, that should be used as fertilizer, or tossed into Lake Michigan.

No wasted, much more needed, money on a formal funeral.

However, if anyone would like to throw a party, my estate would gladly pay for that.

Just more reasons to ... No Matter What ...

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv: :slap:

No, I don't really think about my death. My life insurance policy is expiring, so I will have to do something about that, but I am not thinking about death. I worry about how I will pay my bills when I am eighty-five, my savings won't last that long. There are too many current things to think about.

Apart from having a fully paid up funeral plan, and the instructions for what i require. Plus not only a will, but a living will also.

I do not dwell on my death, the manner will occasionally enter my thoughts but, no. A few years ago i dwelt on my demise, luckily a friend came calling at the flat.

Since there are shops everywhere (food everywhere), can you walk around eating while pretend you are shopping? That why you always have food to eat ...

With my retirement only 9 months away the thought does cross my mind reasonably frequently.

I am just beginning to plan out everything I should do; the will is made but there are other tasks I should settle reasonably quickly.

It doesn't depress me and I have no fears of the end arriving, just want it all organised so that my friends don't have everything to deal with.

I've been retired for a little while now. Funny thing is my line of work had me thinking about death far more than retirement does.

Leave something that would shock and rock the world... I think I mentioned it before: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Diary_of_a_Chambermaid_(novel)

Nope - never really occurs to me.
I would like to go comically.

This thread was way funnier when it was just below J P Ghost's 'Have You Been Sick Lately?' thread.
