Dislikes in porn:
1. Shaving. Hairy men are sexy, naturally smooth men are sexy, but I *hate* it when porn stars are obviously trimmed and/or (shudder) shaved (99% of them--where did this unfortunate trend come from?). The biggest turn-offs in this area are bald or severely trimmed arm pits, cock bushes, balls, and holes. Even so-called hairy porn is not immune to this--watch, for example, "When Bears Attack" where so many of the otherwise hirsute models have trimmed their pubes and completely shaved their balls and holes. Do you know how ridiculous it is to look at a hairy man with bald balls? And yet so many otherwise handsome models do this--look at Arpad Miklos or Kent Larson--and completely ruin their sex appeal in the process. Guys, STOP trimming and shaving your bushes, balls, and assholes--there is nothing more mouth-watering than a beautiful full cock bush and a hairy crack--and this seemed to be a well-understood fact in gay porn until ca. 1980.
If, for some reason, the model absolutely requires "manscaping," it should be discreet enough not be obvious (like professional makeup). Looking at stubbly chest or pubic hair is not sexy. A bald cock looks like a plucked chicken.
This is actually one reason why (despite being 100% gay), I sometimes get off on looking at vintage straight porn--the guys are attractive and physically fit but not blown up with a bicycle pump and haven't shaved their body hair. (Do a Google on Rodox, for several hot examples.) Unfortunately, excessive shaving ruins about 99% of gay porn for me.
2. Lack of chemistry/passion. If the guys aren't turned on by each other, then I'm likely not be turned on either, and the result feels predictable and formulaic.
3. Coldness. Sort of an extension of the previous point--obvious gay-for-pay actors, "servicing" straight men (You suck my dick, I fuck you, no kissing), rape/domineering scenarios, degrading sex talk, "
Broke Straight Boys" type bargaining.
4. When scenes DON'T include kissing and making out, mutual cocksucking, and rimming. (It would also be nice to see more body contact, tit licking, pit smelling/licking, and ball sucking.)
5. Unpleasant settings. Institutional bathrooms, dark rooms, dungeons.
6. Obvious cuts and jumps, particularly when what is cut is foreplay. I want to see the making out, the undressing, the transitions from one act to the next.
7. Music. It's very rare that this is done well and the vast majority of porn flicks would be better without it. The worst is when it covers up the natural sex sounds--I want to hear the moans and grunts.
8. Unending close-ups of cock pounding into ass. It's not that I mind the close-up, but it's not the only thing I ever want to see. I also want to see how the men are interacting, the expressions on their faces, etc. Some nice fucking positions where you can see both the fucking action and the men enjoying themselves are side-by-side or guy sitting on top of other guy's cock.
9. Limp dicks, esp. when being sucked, rimmed, or fucked.
10. Cutting the scene right after cumming--the porn equivalent of rushing off to the bathroom. No need to linger excessively, but a quick kiss or something else to wrap up the scene helps finish it off.
