FOX was reporting tonight that Bill Clinton has done much for Obama to win these key states that has gone mostly un-noticed. He has done 7 Obama fundraisers and 10 Obama rallies. However, until the coming week, Obama and Bill have yet to appear onstage together. FOX says that Bill and Hillary will be joining Obama in Orlando sometime later this week for a huge rally. Previously, Fox says Bill has done rallies in FL, OH, PA, NV and VA. Florida is almost even now and the Clintons have always done well, so perhaps this will help in that critically important Orlando/Tampa corridor.
In the meantime, here is a fascinating story on the tensions between the Palin and McCain handlers. She has allegedly "gone rogue" because she doesn't like how the ex-Bush handlers have managed her. Sounds like even the rats are jumping ship. This is a must read:

Some quick Sunday evening state polls:
ARIZONA -- McCain +2 -- Zimmerman -- This on top of the one I posted earlier today that has McCain up by only 4 has some a WOW factor as big as the Grand Canyon.
WEST VIRGINIA -- McCain +6 -- Research2000
MISSOURI -- Obama +1 -- Research2000 -- This on top of the one I posted earlier today from NBC that had McCain at +1 makes me call the Show Me State a tie for now.
ILLINOIS -- Obama +24 -- Research2000 -- Duh?
MINNESOTA -- Obama +5 -- St Cloud St Univ
WISCONSIN -- Obama +7 -- Rasmussen
Also, Rasmussen has changed their weighting again. Despite Coolblue's insistence that they have a right polling bias, they are currently weighting their poll data as 40.0% Democrat and only 32.8% Republican. They adjust these numbers frequently as explained here:

The most telling item in there is the assertion that McCain's people didn't assess her strengths and weaknesses before casting her in a role. That's one more strike against McCain's ability as an executive -- a BIG one.

It will be close in Florida. We have early voting here (since Oct 20th) and the lines are long. Some people cannot wait that long and are getting discouraged (and getting out of line). Too few early voting places are open in SOME (not all) areas of FL.

Yeah, I think just based on sheer mystery, North Carolina is the most compelling story right now followed, in order, by Missouri, Florida, and Ohio. The polls seem to be a draw right now in NC and MO. The polls in FL and OH mostly have Obama slightly ahead, but polling in these 2 states have never been all that reliable, esp FL.
Based on some polling, there are folks that think Georgia and Indiana hold some surprises, but I'm doubtful. These are true red states, and the GOP is pumping alot of resources in both states now not so much for McCain but to solidify future elections. They don't want the perception that these two states are anything but hardcore red. The GOP is pouring a ton of money Saxby's way in GA just to hold on to that senate seat.
