A Poll About Adding A New JUB Forum

I should really vote for the Androgyny forum, I have an Alan Partridge-esque regard for chicks with dicks.

However, I shall continue to campaign for the mutual appreciation forum to house the rest of the shite that appears on here with increasing frequency.

I voted Science. I just posted a thread about Carl Linnaeus (whose 300th birthday this is) in the Technology forum, because it was the closest, but it's really a science topic.

I voted other on this poll.
For the past year or so there have been many jubbers (myself included) that have asked to have a military forum. The sole purpose for our request was not to have guys post photos of the hottest soldiers or sailors they had pics of, that was always explained in the posts requesting this forum.
The idea of this forum was not to give political views, just to offer those thousands of gay men that are serving and have served in the armed forces of the United States of America. I know most jubbers are anti-military, usuallly cause of their political views.
There are many gay guys that believe and support our armed forces my friends. I am one of them. Yeah, I'm also a Republican (usually, not always).... and there are lot's of fine gay guys that are serving in the military that could use a forum on jub. Believe me.
I've been on jub for over two years, I've had the fortune to talk to some fine gay guys that serve in the Armed Forces of our country.
Many of you would be surprised at how many of these guys visit JUB I think. This would be a great place for them to talk with one another and the rest of us.
Not a soldier porn forum, just a place for those that are serving our country, voluntarily I might add, a place for them to talk to other gay guys around the world.
Well, jubbers, and mods..... this is the last time I will present my case for such a forum.

I'm MUCH less anti-mil than I was, and it's largely because of online contact with military guys (gay and straight).

And I'm a leftie socialist type.

I support the idea of a military forum...though this IS a porn portal, and I think you should expect to tolerate postings of hot soldiers as well as more serious fare! (Well, unless it's a Safe Discussion forum, but that seems unlikely.)

(Hey, I'd post pictures of hot scientists in my putative Science forum!)

Fix up the arcade!

This gets my vote! I know of another message board that has an awesome collection of arcade games (in similar format to ours but much more variety)and I would not mind providing admins the info if they are interested

I think there are already to many forums. It is confusing what threads should be placed where. Adding more forums will just add to the confusion.

I think science would be cool (d'uh, I'm a physics buff... ^_^), but I'm just wondering, what about anime/manga/comics/ect? Ooh, and sci-fi, most everyone loves sci-fi...and fantasy stuff. ^_^

Ooh, this one is good too. When I was a younger guy I used to play message board RPGs, some were pretty fun, most of the ones were either Star Trek, Star Wars, or Anime like...well, they were fun.

...gee, that list makes it sound even more nerdy, doesn't it? ^_^;

Still, it's lots of fun, get to essentially have 5-15 (to however many more) people joining together writing a combined story from the viewpoints of all these different characters. As long as you don't have any sour apples, it's lots of fun and a great creative outlet for people.

Yeah, this place could use some good RPGing. ^_^ I bet at least some of you guys are great writers/storytellers. ^_^




Oh yeah, and another thought, how about a "historical dissucion" or something? Someone said something about the Discovery channel in relation to science, but I've noticed I mostly watch the History channel when I'm not watching Cartoon Network (and sometimes if I am watching it too. ^_^) Tactics and strategems and history, fun stuff. ^_^

Having read these guys, a military forum seems kinda like a neat idea, though ya gotta be careful, don't want the anti-gay crowd trying to get ahold of IPs and such and kicking guys out over it (if such technology exists... -shrug-)

Hi guys!

These guys have some very good suggestions.

I think that lots of guys seem to be interested in a Science forum. That would be great if it could be divided into various areas of interest.

I also liked these suggestions:

Military
Gender Identity
A forum to discuss favorite web-sites (porn and otherwise)
And
I'd like to see a separate forum devoted to Favorite Quotes - I have been amazed at the variety and the wit that is displayed by many of these guys - who post quotes and sayings attached to their profiles. Some of them give me such a chuckle, and others really make you stop and think!

I don't know how advisable all of these really are. Some may already be incorporated into the exsisting forums. They are just for consideration.
This is a great site - as is!

I picked interior design first....but now realize that travel would be more beneficial, so that fellow JUB'ers can post experiences etc., about their travels......
