ABC's "V"

I don't understand why the 'V's call themselves 'V's. They didn't have a name before they came to earth.

I was kinda thinking the same thing the V's can see everything else, but no guards watching Anna's beloved eggs , yeah right but other than that I really love the show

Amen. It bothers me that they call themselves "V" without any mention of their own name. I don't speak for humanity, but if we found intelligent life, I'd introduce us as humans and humanity as a whole.

i'm pretty sure that when the v's are alone they're speaking their native tongue, it's just translated to our convenience. and that translation includes "v" for whatever they call themselves

tyler's hot, but honestly his character's so whiny and flat and the only reason for his existence is to make erica and lisa more interesting. i was hoping that he would've been killed off by the season finale. i really hope they redeem his character for the second season
 
U know I'm really loving this show. I'm up to Anna birthing her soulders serious cud you imagine that in the original lol.

Anyway each time Joshua does something on the mothership my heart is in my mouth there is only so much he can do b4 he's cauvght and I don't want that as I like a 5th coloum member being that close to Anna and he's hot. Anyway I really don't think Paul May is dead no matter what Ryan has said. Cannot wait to next week.
 
So what is the big ulterior motive of the V's? Has it been revealed yet? I think I missed something. In the original, the big secret was that they came to harvest humans for food, and it was revealed way before the show ended. I'm still trying to figure what this one is really about. Are they making it like Lost where the true purpose is not going to be revealed until the series finale after 6 years? Lost writing has been exceptional, so I tolerated it. With V, not so much.
 
well we all saw the hunter eating that deer or boar or whatever it was. so they basically are carnivores. i only wonder what they are eating on their ships all the time.
 
When the series comes back, if the audience numbers doesn't pick up it will be gone. It barely made it to renewal. It was hanging on the edge.
When they cancelled that other series about aliens set in the everglades I was so furious I have difficulty getting involved. I did get involved with this one but was getting to the point that the V's were scoring all the points and the human's (5th Column) were getting very little done. Destroying Anna's eggs (babies) was the only time I felt like they were getting somewhere - but with the red cloud, and the other ships just out of range bothered me. But I will wait and see.

At least that asshole news guy finally saw what was going on.
 
i think that the special effects budget really needs a boost. maybe that'll draw more viewers. love the show, but seriously the cgi is shit

Nope that was in the god awful yet I still love it Final battle that has no real links to what Kenneth Johnston what to do read up on it. That's how I found out about it.

OK I just saw the final today does Marcus have a different motive as to what he did in the final episode???

Also this show is class and it needs to stay on!!!! Why don't ppl watch good shows.

Loved LOST and always watch V. Remember "Invasion" from a few years ago, I really miss that one too....oh and Journeyman!
 
What I was thinking was after I watched the episode again was they may have brought him back to reconnect him to bliss and gain info or marcus is making a move due to Anna becoming emotional.
 
There was not a new idea or set up that hasn't been done a thousand times. Anna's tail stole the show and even that is way old.
