It almost looks similar to the garbage that was Blake Lewis' album - the coverart is similar, make-up around the eyes, horrible fake looking photo-shopped glossed-over look... and Blake Lewis completely bombed with that album.

Here's to hoping that Adam Lambert will bomb with this crap and finally fuck off and do what he should have been doing a long time ago... performing as a non-speaking extra in a lame all-gay West Hollywood play with Jeff Stryker as the opening act singing cabaret.

The fact is that the majority of the attacks on this cover off these boards are, indeed, bigoted and homophobic. His effeminate appearance on it is a problem for some people. I see no reason to tiptoe around something this obvious. If it were a girl on the cover in a feminine pose, people would not make a fuss about it.

I don’t care if you dislike him. What ticks me off and rightly so is the way you express these opinions. You say “Lambert is relying upon an image to further his career, an image which is notorious for being annoying" . Don’t make broad statements like that when you can't provide any evidence of it.

..because it's obvious it's not organic or even coming from an artistic place at all. that exact album cover has been done before (see: Purple Rain by Prince and Aladdin Sane by David Bowie, etc...);
Basically, he's allowing himself to be fucked without lube -- or a condom -- by the music business...

Love it! Yes, it looks like a botched '80s album cover, but it got people to talk about it. Much more than what can be said of Kris Allen, bless his heart. Can't wait for the album to be released. I'll proudly stand in line with the album in hand.

I didn't hate it...I really didn't care for "Time for Miracles" from the 2012 soundtrack that he released a few weeks ago. but this one was pretty good. I agree with what Perez posted about it though...it does sound a bit too much like Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold"...but it's still good. Don't know if this is one of the tracks that he worked with Sam on or not though.

The only positive thing I can think of to say - and it's a stretch - is that he seems to be going a different direction than most other Idol has-beens. That said, it sounds like every other track on CDs marketed directly to homosexuals. ("Gay Happening 2009"!) And I'm assuming it'll be turned into an ad for FYE by March 2010.

Well, he CAN sing - I think AI showed that. But my guess is that the marketing department of 19 said "OK, you're gay, so we're gonna market you to the queers. They love that Britney 'Womanizer' stuff, so we're gonna have you do heavily AutoTuned generic dance tunes." And I'm sure a good chunk of gays are going to buy it. Just not this one.

Womanizer was way better than this garbage and it's one of Britney's weaker singles IMO.

Anyway he and his image are so predictable and lame. Another laughing stock in the community. Fail!
