I'm let down that the only gay musicians who can get a break are the ones crafted by the labels to be the laughing stocks of the general public. You think it's an accident that guys like Matt Alber or Eric Himan can't get a break? The general public only wants gay stars if they're freaks and clowns to laugh at. And Adam was willing to be that clown.
Oh well.
Glambert does not disappoint!!! This is worse than my wildest dreams.
Finally, You can judge a book by it's cover.
This is just as awful as his screeching.
Agreed. Although, Bob Mould (Husker Du, Sugar, solo) is successful.

He is?
Aside from "if I can't change your mind" 15 years, ago I don't think he's ever had a hit single and I'm willing to bet outside of us Alt Fags and people who wear flannel, nobody had heard of him.
It's not all about being known or commercially successful.
They like they homos flaaaaaming.

Yeah, he is. His bands Huker Du, Sugar, and his solo tunes were/are big on college/alternative radio. He's definitely not Top 40 but is openly gay, not a queen, and has had major label support.![]()
But guys like Bob Mould (who I love) were just never going to get as big as the effeminate gay guys that your mom can accept. Or... well, that's how I see it.
Agreed. It's like the gay version of the dreaded blackface.
Which is what I said about "Brüno." Depicting gay people as creepy sexual predators, perverts, bad parents and freaks... that's the kind of gay person that mainstream Americans are comfortable with and when we cry foul, we're told to "learn to laugh at yourself" which means "that's what you're really like... you may as well accept it."
This album cover is just more of that.

Tears of joy, but nothing out of sadness.
This is exactly what he wants. He is at home jerking off to every word, if he's reading any of this.
something worse then being boring is being derivative and fake. Adam Lambert is a cliche. Go back to theater!![]()
