Ok, this is buging me so I wanted to post something about it.

What is up with guys my age(18-25) going out with guys in their 30's????

I mean WTF they are old. Sure they have their shit together but come on!

Why would anyone responsible, with long-term plans and stable careers want to date someone they have to help raise?

Got some news for you bud, I am 63 and my husband is 31! We have been together for almost 3 years now, and we got married this past April!

What doesn't fit you doesn't mean it can't fit others! Life is too fucking short to argue about small age differences, (or large ones for that matter), as you describe.

Some people get together for just sex, while others are looking for a meaningful relationship. My man never thought he would be in love with an older man, but he is and we are!
 
that's the same attitude that has some straight people saying "wtf how can a guy be attracted to his own sex?!"

When I started dating my partner I was 23 and he was 35. After more than 12 years were still together.

Of course when I was 23 I didn't want do date guys 18-25 because they were so young and immature, and generally couldn't give good head.

I would never date a guy in his 30s ...but thats just me.

Everyone is different.
 
By looking at a guy, how can one distinguish between one that is 33 vs. one that is 26? Do guys age that quickly? When I look at photos of me for those two ages, I can't see much of a difference.
 
I am 18 and am not attracted to people my age or even close to my age. Youngest I am attracted to is about 40. I would sooner date a girl than date a guy my own age.

I don't know why I am attracted to older men, but I am.

Because of people that have this frame of mind.

All my friends thought I was crazy for dating a 30 year old while I was 19, even though they never knew he was 30 until someone told them. I love him, he loves me, even though we're not together anymore, I still think of it as the best time of my life so far.

Does he honestly look that much older than me? No, but he's a hell of a lot more mature than 90% of my age group.

Truth be told; I've never really though much about older guys. I'd like to think I'm fairly young yet, 21...

I don't exclude them as a rule...I mean, if you've ever gotten a good look at Dan Savage, who's 44, I'd totally go for him if I could, and keep in mind he's almost double my age.

I think age is actually really, just a number. So long as you're attracted to the person, and seeing them for the right reasons: AKA, they're not your sugar daddy or you're using them for money and what not...Then go ahead and date who you want.

In relation to age differences i have one question, are u guys ok if an older person dates someone who is younger than their own sons and daughters??

ummmm a hot guy is a hot guy.... and when you meet someone you click really well with(which is hard to find regardless of age). why should you hold back on it. When that person might just end up being the one you fall in love with and spend the rest of your life together.
