Do the judges need hearing aids or is their too much WAX in "the ears"!! Both Blake and Chris R. performances were absolutely terrible tonight. I was shock to hear what the judges said abut their performances.

I'm usually a fan of Blake's performances, but he really didn't do well tonight IMO. Chris R. is the "Ace Young" of the competition.. His voice clearly sucks, and I don't know why he is still in this competition.. of course I should already know the reason :D

Lakisha is creepy too.

really who would buy there albums......... if i want to listen Donna Summer I will buy a Donna Summer Album.

Why are you hating on these magnificent African American women. Do you have a problem with black women?? I realize that both are not "hot" in the looks department.. but I was wondering what your real motive for disliking them, and calling her creepy.

Melinda is the one to beat,wether she has a neck or not. She has the best voice. This is a singing competition,remember?

Always singing gospel?? You really need to "expand" your musical knowledge if you think they are always singing gospel. Just because a "black" woman sings like that.. doesn't mean its gospel.

Chris R. cannot sing... he is the "Ace Young" of this competition(all he has is looks). Blake on the other hand can actually sing. The only reason the judges are making positive comments about this guy is due to him being marketable and good looking for the cameras. This is a television show believe it or not, so they will need some good looking people on TV :D

Lakisha is like Jennifer Hudson,a marvelous singer(though not quite as outstanding consistently ,a little disappointingly uncertain two of the last four weeks).She may poll in the bottom 3,but no way she goes if America has any sense whatsoever.Melinda is the most consistently great,but it's almost like taken for granted she'll be really good,and I really hope she has enough broad appeal to reach at least the final 2 she unquestionably if going by talent she deserves.And enough talk of hunger strikes,I'm holding my breath until Sanjaya gets the trap door....even if it kills me!;)

Anyways i must say that tonight was the most heart wrenching/breaking elimination i have watched all season. I almost cried and Gina singing "smile" made it even worse. And then she had to hold back tears , it was just all too much.

Gina wasn't very good last night, but she was better than Haley. Although i would have been sad if Haley went too because, she started crying when she realized she was in the bottom 3 and she is so pretty and sweet and has nice breasts.

Wow very sad.

Not an earth shattering decision,but not a good one either.America got it wrong tonight,with the weaker Haley and Phil surviving and the surprisingly understated,strong and beautiful version of "Smile" by Gina being met with her getting the boot.

Again,Sanjaya isn't in the bottom 3,something is fishy with the voting system...he's so overmatched it's inexplicable he doesn't even have to squirm.I guess I have to announce I'm taking breaths again,as holding it for a week just wouldn't be very practical.
Very poignant with her singing,the truly emotional reaction of everyone(especially a really devastated appearing Jordin)and her composure and class holding up for a final riff of 'Smile",and the gathering of the other Idols around her....joined in the very end of the song by Jordin.I just started to really like her,appreciate how well she can sing out of the tough girl rocker mode.

I hope we hear more from her as an artist in the future,as I think her last and best performance opened some eyes and gave her some real credibility.
