Americans First – Citizenism as a Moral Principle to Regulate Immigration

Your hateful rant might have more meaning if you had ever expressed any concern for the poor and unemployed other than resentment of the rich. For all your screeching, who else here has an actual plan to help them?

Preventing poor and unemployed people from even being allowed to join the market not just fails to help them, but shows the ultimate hypocrisy to dress that plan in contrived expressions of concern.

Either let people join the free market through open borders, or stop pretending to be a free market capitalist.

You certainly don't -- you want to tax them more.

Oh, yes, and to make sure they have nothing to eat and can't pay their bills so they lose their homes.

Oh please. Your explanation for the poor and unemployed and underemployed and underpaid in utterly any other discussion is "it's their own fault for not acquiring the skills and education required to earn more." You are no champion of the poor and unemployed. Only when it's a thinly veiled attempt to posture as though "liberals ought to agree with you" that all immigration is harmful and evil does your convenient concern for the poor arise.

Support a living minimum wage, then we'll talk.

Someone ought to introduce a bill that would link a minimum wage increase with allowing the states to enforce immigration on their own borders.

Knowing the penchant of our liberals for misunderstanding and distorting , it is with trepidation that I say I think I agree with numbers 4, 10,21,26,28,29,30,34,35,36,43,46,51,52,55,60,73,77, and 79. Others I either reject or would require elaboration and qualification and my computer is too cranky to allow either.

4. Enforcing the laws against the illegal immigration that drives down the wages African-Americans could earn by honest labor would help poor blacks.

10. High crime rates in black neighborhoods burden local entrepreneurs and hold back the economic advancement of the [Black] race.

21. Liberal whites run the media. They blame other white people they already despise and claim social superiority over other whites by demonstrating their racial sensitivity.

26. Illegal immigration harms poor African-Americans who desperately need the dignity and the discipline provided by having a decent-paying job.

28. Americans should be biased in favor of the welfare of our current fellow citizens over that of the six billion foreigners.

29. Our leaders have a duty to the current citizens and their descendants.

30. The central issue for the future of our country is limiting immigration.

34. Depriving African-Americans of the discipline of work is self-defeating and just worsens their behavior.

35. Admitting vast numbers of Latinos exacerbates America's social problems.

36. We are lucky to be American citizens and want to pass on own good fortune to our posterity undiluted.

43. The GOP is successful in the South, due in part to a successful political strategy that promotes colorblind policies that whites approve of, such as law and order, private enterprise, low taxes, and the like. This strategy has been good for blacks, too.

46. White moralism over race merely consists of white Americans jockeying to claim status as morally superior to their rivals—who are, overwhelmingly, other white Americans.

51. One journalistic cliché that keeps down working class wages through illegal immigration is that it’s “good for the economy”—as if the American economy exists for its own sake as opposed to existing for the good of American citizens.

52. Working class men and women remain our fellow American citizens and deserve our support.

55. Citizen Nationalists believe Americans and their government should be biased in favor of the welfare of our current fellow citizens over that of the six billion foreigners.

60. Western history has been distorted by the politically correct to emphasize its episodes of ethnocentrism and inequality, which are universals.

73. Constructive tendencies toward equal treatment and broadening of the definition of “us” become self-destructive, even suicidal, if there are no limits.

77. The elites want to keep the line over who gets to be an American as hazy as possible, in order to import massive amounts of cheap labor and manage the resulting diversity.

79. Citizen Nationalists want to draw the line at the border.

NOW is the time for you to present your case.

vidēre licet,

Limit population growth within the US
Limit abortion for Americans
Limit the availability of birth control in the US
Limit immigration to the US and characterize it as “an invasion”

  • Democrats encourage abortion of American babies and a flood of immigrants
  • Democrats (after the Civil War) became an alliance of immigrants, Catholics, and Southern anti-Republicans
  • The Democratic Party consists mostly of minorities (Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Gays, Asians, immigrants)
  • Democrats are anti-white – a collection of disgruntled minorities
  • Blacks vote on the basis of race
  • Blacks commit more crime, abuse welfare
  • Welfare locks Blacks into poverty
  • Anti-discrimination laws cause discrimination against Blacks and encourage the sending of jobs overseas
  • Government should not try to legislate away all unfairness
  • Government control is socialism
  • Charity doesn’t belong in economic policy
  • Liberals associate White Supremacy with those who object to affirmative action and/or immigration
  • Democrats teach Blacks and Hispanics that Whites hate them
  • Democrats teach Blacks and Hispanics to resent or hate Whites; they and Obama want Whites to pay higher taxes to give minorities and Democrats a free ride
  • Diversity and multiculturalism prevents unity and causes class warfare
  • Education (since the time of forced integration) has focused on equalizing Blacks and immigrants with Whites
  • The need for jobs and employment outweighs the value of non-discrimination
  • Democrats promote the idea that the taxpaying Americans / Republicans are racist, which causes minorities to hate
  • Few Republicans are racist
  • The [Democrat] media invents incidents by claiming that innocent words are “code” words for racism
  • The Democratic Party could never elect an official, were it not for the racist block of Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc
  • Reagan fused the modern Republican Party by unifying Christians and the Republican Party of traditional Americans
  • Republicans are the assimilated majority – decent people
  • Pandering to minorities is hostile toward the assimilated majority
  • The assimilated majority always feels like the victims when faced with the party of minority people

Without going throu one by one, let me say I have never suggested limiting birth control or population growth as such. Limiting immigration has that effect to some extent.
Education since integration has largely focused on equalizing RESULT. The problem is that it has not worked well resulting in a tendency to make the curriculum easier, narrowing the gap. Over all, easier courses is not a good thing.
I do not believe I used the words " decent people" as such, in describing the assimilated majority.
I did not say charity does not belong in economic policy, but that it is not a workable economic system.
I said jobs and employment outweigh the value of the laws against discrimination not the value of non discrimination.
I would have other qualifying changes, but the stick out.

Your list is not my case as such, which is that immigration increases poverty, unemployment, low wages, crime and problems in education, health care, the environment.

That is not a case. It is a bald, unsubstantiated assertion.

I do not recall saying blacks committ more crime, as such. I have pointed out that one in three black men spend time in the penitentiary. I have consistently said the problem results from the need to compete with immigrants for jobs, and this has been happening since the Civil War. I have said growing up on welfare also discourages the work ethic.
Did I say democrats are anti white? Think I said they are anti establishment, a collection of disgruntled minorities.

^ Let the record show that Benvolio is incapable of prolonged discussion. No matter how much effort you put into a rebuttal post, he's going to dismiss it within one paragraph that you can barely read anyway because it is riddled with grammatical errors.

You are dead wrong. Neither 366 nor 367 is rebuttal Both are lists of my supposed positions. They do not invite further discussion on my part. I did not dismiss them, but made a few clarifications.

So when you feel some small details have been misrepresented in your position, the discussion stops-- but you can sit here all day making every kind of unsubstantiated allegation about what the motives of Democratic politicians and Democratic voters are, that Opinterph dismisses you as a racist, etc.?

In that numbered collection posted by opinterph, I had the urge to coometn on this one:

52. Working class men and women remain our fellow American citizens and deserve our support.

That's true, but as it stands it's more a fascist principle than an American one. Here's how it ought to read, to be consistent with American principles:

Working class men and women, legal immigrants, and all who have come here and by hard work made themselves part of our country are our fellow Americans and deserve our support.

That doesn't set aside the fact that there are many of our fellow Americans at present who came here illegally, who must still take responsibility for that action by facing appropriate penalties in place before being considered legal residents.

That's not ius soli however, and ius soli is settled as the way citizenship is conferred in "Anglo" countries.

Wouldn't it just be easier to deny entry to heavily pregnant visitors?

Extending that to people who have no connection tom the US is stupid. If ius soli requires citizenship be granted in such an artificial situation, it should be abolished or at least sensibly defined.

Yeah, like the North Carolina legislature and Governor passing laws which slash state income taxes on the wealthy, and dramatically raised taxes on the poor?

Yes, Republicans are eager to raise taxes, if it only affects people they don't like. Of course that "dragnet" catches some poor [rednecks] in it as well, but it really harms most of the people whose skin isn't "white" enough, etc.

Republicans only believe in tax relief for those in the higher echelons of the economy, and please throw the full onus of the cost of government on those who are busting their asses to survive.
