Yeah, Tyra holds a grudge. It's hardly one of the worst things a model has ever done on the show. The other judges seemed to have a stick up their asses about it too.

I actually loved that Ebony left with no remorse! She left because after getting a taste of modeling, she knew it wasn't for her, and she didn't want someone else to go home. On the the other hand, Tahlia thinks that modeling is for her, but doesn't want to deal with the criticism that naturally comes with it.

And since when did Aminat become such a cunt? I actually liked her at the beginning. Talk about underwhelming.

this episode left me mad as hell. tyra and her self-righteous bullshit.

aminat acted like a 4-year old. "STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID" - yeah, nice argument there, you fugly immature cunt. and to think i actually liked aminat at the beginning of the cycle too. her true colors are finally shining brightly. and they are the color of feces.

but, how many times in past "cycles" has tyra asked contestants, "do you want to be here?" and then angrily sends them home, with some bullshit line of "i can't believe i picked you and yet you don't even want to be here"

item: C7 anchal and michelle getting called out for "not wanting to be there" based on their lackluster performance/lukewarm attitude towards modeling, and then getting the boot, back-to-back

item: C4 tiffany getting kicked off for not wanting to be there despite how much tyra "was rooting for you! we were all rooting for you! how dare you!!!!"

and now that one of the model-wannabes actually speaks her mind, backs her shit up, and doesn't act like some minion-slave, and instead cautions tyra of a contestant who doesn't want to be there, tyra throws one big fucking hissy fit.

tyra is all about having ultimate control, and the minute that one of her minions speaks out, she goes ballistic and acts like it's the worst thing that anyone's ever done on the show. that tyra is one big fucking power-hungry cunt.

and i agree with moe that tyra is squirting all over teyona this cycle, much like she did with C10 bitchney and C9 saleisha.

don't get me wrong - i think teyona's a pretty girl, with a very model-esque face and build. but her photos have been UNDERWHELMING. notice how, during judging, tyra's often the first person to comment on teyona's photos, going on about how "FIERCE and MAAAAJJOOORRR" they are.

bullshit. bullshit. bullshit.

but from that alone, it's pretty clear who the winner of this dumb cycle is going to be.

teyona, congrats on your 1yr contract with CG and elite.

based on the preview for next week's episode with paulina calling tahlia out on being the lame-ass, dead-weight piece of driftwood that she is, i'm hoping tahlia finally gets the boot.

but knowing tyra's love for a lame, pathetic sob story (tahlia's burn scars were the result of an isolated incident during her childhood, not some devastating, widespread, tragic fire that destroyed communities), i'm sure tahlia will be top 2, if not ANTM. oh wait, but i forget - ANTM is teyona. so then tahlia will be runner-up, obviously.

and celia really did not deserve to be bottom 2. and i personally think allison should've been called first. sure, it's the same look, but it's an interesting, arresting look that alot of european fashion houses would love to have in their print ads. and her photo really was the most stunning out of the bunch, for me.

i can't say tanya dziahileva or gemma ward really give much "range" in terms of facial expression. but they're well-known, well-paid, working top models/muses in the fashion industry because of their unique look. so i don't think allison's "lack of range" will work against in the "real" modeling world.

and if we want to talk about lack of range, all we need to do is look at teyona's photos. they're BLAH and boring. there's nothing there. she literally just stands in front of the camera, with her "wind in face" (which i'll admit is pretty cool), after which the judges (IE, tyra and nigel only) start squirting their bodily fluids all over her photos, as if they're the hottest shit ever.

frustrating. i think i need to stop watching this piece of crap show. or at least invest less in it.

gemma ward - one of the most-booked, most sought-after high fashion models in the past 10 yrs, the face of hermes, valentino, burberry, christian dior:

allison is no gemma ward, and never could be, but they share alienesque facial features - which honestly, don't need much else (none of that smiling with your eyes bullshit) to make for an interesting, unique editorial photo.

definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea, but whether or not you like her precious-moments figurine look, a photo like this makes you want to take another look (to say either, "what the fuck is that?" or "whoa, now that's something different")

almost could be something out of a horror movie, poltergeist-ish. but in a very artsy way.

european fashion houses eat up shit like that.

the one obvious difference between these "real" working models and allison and many of the girls on this cycle of ANTM: size.

and you know tyra won't be having no anorexic bitches up in her house.
but the continuing reality is that models need to be rail-thin in order to land campaigns like these. these skinny bitches are the ones that major high fashion houses are booking.

in terms of body proportions and "thinness," both celia and aminat, i think, come closest to matching these "real" models -

and just randomly, stumbled on this photo as i was searching for lanvin ad campaigns:

totally thought to myself, "is that celia?" same thin body type, similar almost masculine face, platinum blonde hair, same incredible/awesome/inspiring sense of style (i could totally picture celia wearing something like this to panel)

but then i realized celia is 25. and on antm. which sort of precludes her from landing real huge fashion house ad campaigns.

And LONDON and NATALIE are definitely the next girls to get sent home. At this point, I really wouldn't be surprised if TAHLIA not only made it overseas to Sao Paulo but is apart of the final 3, if not 2.

This show has really gone downhill since that UPN/CW merger.

I change my mind. I want Tahlia to make it overseas to go-sees. I'm sure designers will look past the scars and instead respect her for being a role model.

I agree about London going next, but I think Natalie will last a little longer. She won't win, but she has some lasting power. I think Natalie will be one of the girls who has a chance at legitimate modeling after the show.

Yeah, and this show has gone down in quality since the CW merger. Cycle 7 blewwwwww!! And I think Tyra's exponentially inflating ego has something to do with it too.

At this point the show is all about Tahliah and she's getting the winner's edit (also she is verrrrrrry much getting the Saleisha edit) so I would say either Aminat or Tahliah stand a very good chance at winning.

However last week my list had Sandra being 3rd place and now she's gone... so anything goes at this point!

hey moe - i agree with you. allison's biggest problem is her walk, so i wouldn't be surprised if that becomes the reason the judges send her home.

i'd go so far as to say it'll be between allison and teyona at the final fashion show, and allison gets axed because her wonky walk is obviously inferior to teyona's plastic but strong walk.

tyrant has to justify these cuts somehow, and bringing allison to the end then eliminating her ass because she has such a bad walk (which was known from the start of the show) is just an easy, convenient, and legitimate excuse to make way for the teyona win.

as for teyona, i'd be more supportive of the girl if she weren't so obviously being given undue praise by tyra and tyra's parrot, nigel.

i'm sure she can take great photos, but i have yet to see them. maybe later on in the cycle.

and as much as i'd hate a teyona win, i'd rather see tyra give her the crown over aminat.

since this is most likely a "minority" or black winner cycle, it all boils down to fo, aminat, and teyona. the white girls are just filler (i think).

out of those three, i love fo's look and would love to see her win. she reminds me of stina jeffers from the first season of the janice dickinson modeling agency (another totally horrible modeling show that i loved to hate). stina seems taller than fo, but they share those same facial freckles.

fo seems like she's the shortest in the bunch, and given cycle 13 is all about the shorties, it's more likely that they'll have a tall girl win this cycle.

so that leaves aminat and teyona. aminat's a bitch, and she reminded me intially of C8 cassandra - only smarter and not as endearing as cassandra was.

the kicker is that teyona's getting lavished with undue praise by the judges. so it's more likely that she'll win over aminat (and between the two, of course, i'd prefer teyona).

i definitely agree with moe and yeahwhatever that sandra/"sandruff" (moe, what's the story behind that moniker?) and natalie have the best chance at modeling careers post-antm. still love sandra's look and think she has a great career ahead of her. i think natalie is interesting-looking, but personally not my cup of tea. i'd group her in the same category as C6 brooke - kinda big and weird and round-faced.

but as far as girls who have great modeling careers ahead of them, i'd include celia in that mix. even though she's 25, i think she's made a great case for herself on the show. she knows her shit, she knows the industry, she lives/breathes fashion, she's articulate, the way she dresses is inspiring (although i hate the androgynous, suit/tie look that she seems to like - but apparently that look is making a comeback), and she has great presence. all that despite her weirdly james-carville-esque face.

alot of what she has going for her can make up for her old age. i mean, C7 melrose was 24 when she was on the show (i actually loooved C7 - but i have weird tastes, obviously), and she got picked up by UK's storm model management, who've also represented marcus schenkenberg and alessandra ambrosio. i think she's since left storm, but is still signed with bleu and empire models in ny. given that she's 26, that's pretty impressive. and i think alot of that had to do with her overall presence, her poise, and her knowledge of the industry - the same things that celia has going for her.

the thing with celia is that she presents herself and carries herself well - right down to how she throws people under the bus. and for that reason, i think she'll have a great shot at impressing agencies and casting agents on go-sees.

OH And does anyone else notice that Paulina is basically nonexistant on Panel this season... I mean cycle??
She barely speaks! She talks during deliberation but nevvvvvvvver is shown talking when models approach the judges.

Sigh, I remember the good ol days when the girls used to meet Tyra at a local cafe and just chat (circa cycle 2) or when Tyra would "just drop by the house to see how the girls are doing" (circa all cycles before her talk show got started)

Sigh, yes the good ol days.... Now it's like Tyra is thinking, "Yeah, Panel time. let's get this over with......."

Am I The only one who loves Aminat? Bitch is fierce. She was 10x fiercer with the fro, But she's rocking the weave. Her paint picture should have been called first as should her sight seeing picture. And I love how she put smug ass Natalie in her place, it's about time someone took the girl down a notch or two b/c she might win these challenges but her call out average sucks.

Yeah, pretty much.

I only loved AMINAT when she did have the huge 'fro. To me, it was the only time in the competition was the bitch truly fe-rosh and intriguing to look at. Now with the swap-meet weave, she's just a bootleg version of Danielle and Stacy-Ann. I'm with Paulina on her paint picture, it is indeed a rather nice picture but in no way am I jealous of it. It's competence at it's best.

And I don't get how NATALIE can be so great at the challenges but suck royally when it's time to take a picture. I reiterate my prediction from before, her and LONDON are most likely the next girls to be sent packing in the next two episodes. Slowly but surely, they've both been racing the other right down to the bottom of the pack.

I guess thats why I love her so much is b/c she is reminicent of Danielle. I do wish they let her keep the fro, I mean they didn't touch Natalies hair b/c she " already looked like a model" whereas Aminat is the feircest pre show, My only fear is now that Sandra is gone that Aminat's gonna get the bitch edit. Another thing I don't understand is how London can get such praise from Mr. Jay during the shoots about it being so good and she's working it but when it comes to panel they pretty much hate her picture, Also Mr. Jay said Teyona was really bad last week at the paint shoot, but when it came time to judge the pictures they pretty much creamed there pants over it, I really think mr. jay should be come a permenat 4th judge, and quit having all these stupid guest judges.

also one more thing Aminat got going for her is her walk. Go back to the first fashion show they did when they got to NYC, and as much as nobody likes her I doubt anyone could say that she didn't tear up that runway.

Here's my problem with the london thing. She didn't just gain 10 pounds from one panel to the next so why are they just now saying something to her? Week by week she's been getting a little bigger but they've never metioned it till now when its almost to late to do anything about it. And I though Janice was catty, but damn Paulina really bought the claws out when it came to London's shorts.

Im so glad thalia went home. She was so quiet and meek and it seemed like she used all the drama with celia to make herself more noticeable.

Im still rooting for celia to win, or allison. But I really hope allison can pull it together before she does another wide eyed open mouth photo.
I really don't like aminat or teyona but i'm pretty sure they'll stay because it seems like theres always an african american contestent in the top 4. I doubt its for talent.

here's how I see the rest of the cycle going down

7th: London. The judges have it in for her obvisouly, She's not a great model but she really has yet to have a horrible picture

6th: Natalie. Everyone else has had a wow photo or 2. Fo [ Paint, Tour Bus] Allison [ Childhood Games]. Celia [ Lighting], Aminat [ Paint And Tour Bus], Teyona [ Lighting, Childhood Games]. But Natalie has yet to really impress the judges.

5th: Fo. She's had some rocking photos and she's cute as a button, But she's also the shortest and compared to everyone else she's way to nice notice how she stayed out of the argument.

4th: Allison. Pre show I though she be one of the top 2, But not even overseas and she's been in the bottom 2 twice. Plus the one look thing will get old.

3rd: Celia. Now this is where im torn. I love Aminat and would love her to be in the top 2, But girl can't deliver a commerical to save her life. But Celia's is way to old for covergirl. The girl can model and is probally the most fashion knowlegable in the group but there gonna put the old car at the last minute no matter how good her commerical will be ie Renee.

2nd: Aminat, I know alot of people do not like this girl. But I love her, She's feisty, Hasn't been in the bottom 2, has a damn good walk and has taken pretty good pictures mius the lighting one.

1st: Teyona: This girl could show up to panel in a damn Swastika dragging a bag full of dead babies behind her and the judges would still cream their pants over her. She's winning.

I hated how Nigel contradicted himself in last week's episode by first saying TEYONA needs to work on being telegenic, only to say during deliberation that she's the most telegenic/photogenic girl there. thank you. It really is true, I mean Teyona is good but if I had to rank her I would rank her 3rd or 4th behind Aminat and Celia and possibly Allison. Shes a little rough looking in person, and her smile is sorta jokerish and creepy. I won't exactly be dissapointed if she win like I was with Saleisha and Nicole, But I think the bias praise is getting a little old.
