glad Natalie is gone...but I just don't see the judges keep jumping on Teyona's dick

in her picture....she looked like a hooker that was trying to entice her next john

and enough with the Celia looks old comments by the judges...I've been calling her Lady James Carville since the first episode...but I got over it...that's just her face...can't change that like you can't change Allison's bug eyes (and do something about her hair...she's looking more like Tara Reid every episode)

Fo is my dark horse here. There is something about her that is different and makes her unique enough to win ANTM.

I'm crossing my fingers and wishing Fo makes it. She definitely deserves it over Tyra and Nigel's latest pet project.

i know - seriously. it's shit like that that proves the show is rigged from the start. blah.

at least be honest one week and acknowledge that her photos are mediocre, just so that it doesn't look like teyona was picked as winner during casting.

i'm sure it'll happen before the finale, but by now - it's so obvious that teyona is ANTM.

Agree! When Nigel had his orgasm again looking at Teyona's picture I so wanted to reach over and give him a good smack! Dude! Are we looking at different pictures? She looks plain at best.

The last time Nigel and Tyra did this, we all know the ending- Suckleisha- someone totally undeserving- won. So there's almost no point in anticipating the end anymore... Sucks...

Allison totally rocked this week. His capoeira shot was totally hot, as was her judging panel picture. Such a vast improvement from her previous one look.

Fo's capoeira shot was also totally hot.

Bokan, I am with you there. Glad to see some others that like Teyona. I think Celia has the most fashion sense of them all, but in truth, she has not the beauty of any of the other finalist. I love her and would like to see her go all the way in this competition, but they are being prepped for the real world of modeling and her best shot is behind the scenes not in front of the camera. Sorry Celia, luv ya babe.

hey man - antm is definitely not "prep" for the real world of modeling. if anything, antm can be a detriment to a real modeling career, and the winners often have less successful careers than the ones who don't win (see: caridee, suckleisha, C10whitney).

i'd be fine wtih teyona if the judges weren't so CLEARLY favoring her over the others. in their eyes, she can do no wrong.

that sort of overt bias makes me sick, especially when teyona's photos haven't been that inspiring - but i suppose i can't expect anything less from this show.

i think teyona has great model proportions and is a huge improvement over past winners like suckleisha. i'd take teyona over suckleisha any day.

but the fact remains - her photos haven't been as orgasmically amazing as the judges have made them out to be.

looking over her body of work, i'd say - decent photos, but nothing amazing.
but tyra and nigel will say: AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, FANTASTIC PHOTOS. ONE OF A KIND!

and teyona's personality isn't that great either.

in a show that takes value in a girl's personality and background, i'd at least hope the winner would have something more in the personality department.

take C6 dani - i didn't think she was the most modelesque of the bunch (mollie sue and jade were more striking to me that cycle), but she had strong model foundations, a great walk, and the best personality in her cycle - she was endearing, down to earth, sweet, etc. and throughout the cycle, i was rooting for her.

but teyona's kind of bland. and she only seems to show personality when she's pissed off (see: her fight with natalie, celia, etc. in new york and her fight with fo in sao paolo).

but the panel still loves everything she does.

in their eyes, she can do no wrong. and it's for that reason that i have major issues with her winning the show.

as far as we can tell, it's going to be a minority/black-winner cycle. and between fo, aminat, and teyona, i'd honestly rather see aminat take it. i thought she looked really amazing in-person at panel during the last episode. when the girls lined up, she was the one that stood out the most - everything about her screamed MODEL to me.

so an aminat-win would be an amazing surprise, but - in all honesty - tyra's pretty much handing the win to teyona on a silver platter.

Ah, sorry, I thought you meant Teyona. But yeah, as I was watching the episode with my friends, we agreed the most modelesque girls, or at least the girls with the best body- was Aminat and Natalie.

The girls are in Brazil! Where all the top Victoria Secret models come from, let's throw some swim suits on the girls like right now, lol!

Ugh, I'm so disappointed that Celia went home! If this show weren't rigged, it probably would have been Teyona.

But I don't get why Aminat is still there. I didn't like her picture, and I really haven't liked any of her pictures. the only thing she has going for her is her walk.

Obviously, I'm rooting for Allison, but we all know she isn't going to win.

i'm sort of thinking aminat might take it. teyona might've just been some decoy.
or it could be the other way around, too. maybe they're just keeping aminat as a decoy - to keep us guessing.

it's really up in the air right now for me.

but at this point, i actually wouldn't mind an aminat win - she's super tall, she's got model proportions, and she has a great runway walk.

i think her personality still smells like a bag of barf (although at times, she's really endearing - like at the beginning of the season), and i wish they let her keep her 'fro, since it was signature.

but, to have kept aminat this long? having been bottom 2 twice overseas and producing blah photos - and yet tyra still keeps her?

it's a tough call because, while teyona's never been in the bottom 2, she's also produced blah photos. and yet tyra's still kept her in the competition. so aminat and teyona really are neck-and-neck in terms of who ends up winning this rigged competition.

aminat is taking more of C10 whitney's path - bottom 2 alot, but they still keep her ass around because they rigged the show that way and she wins antm.

whereas teyona is taking C9 saleisha's path - blah blah blahsville photos, the judges still cream over her despite that, and they keep her around so that she wins antm.

so yeah, based on past precedent, it could really go either way.

the one thing we do know, at this point, is that allison's out because her walk sucks. and CG wouldn't really approve. neither would seventeen magazine, unless they're trying to target the epistaxis-obsessed adolescent market.

and celia's elimination? man, that was a bummer. i still think she has a great career (albeit a short-lived one) in modeling ahead of her. i mean, yoanna was 24 when she won antm. C2 camille was 25 on the show, and she still booked jobs post-show. C7 melrose was 23/24, and she's still signed with a big agency.

the age thing only affects celia in that her face looks worn/tired/"full-of-wisdom"/"not-frosh." but if she had a younger-looking face, i think her age would just be a technicality, more easily overlooked/forgiven by designers.

but her runway walk, her presence, her poise, her ability to pose, her sense of style, her knowledge of fashion - all work for her.

i think the biggest reason celia was cut 4th, rather than 3rd, is because tyra KNOWS celia would rock the CG commercial.

she nailed the first CG commercial they did earlier in the cycle, outperforming every single one of the girls. tyra knows that had she been in the top 3, her elimination would have been so much harder to justify (a la C8 renee).

of the remaining girls, aminat might have the best CG ad, with teyona and allison in the bottom 2 next week. which could either mean an all-black final two, or aminat vs allison final two.

this totally throws out the window the long-standing prediction that teyona had this cycle in the bag. but maybe that's what tyrant had in mind all along - to confuse viewers and keep us guessing.

sure, i don't care much for either of the two frontrunners, aminat and teyona (i'll be rooting, futilely, for allison). but at least it's not completely sealed that teyona has it.

if celia made it to the final 3, then we would all be 100% sure that teyona would be crowned antm.

Ahhh... alas, my favourite contestant in a long while left the competition. She's what ANTM has been missing for so long- someone who's smart and who doesn't flares up, throws bitch tantrums and speak with their asses instead of their brain. She added a level of intelligence that I was looking for so long in the girls.

I agree, she was totally robbed off the top 3 spot.

I honestly honestly hope she makes in big in the modeling world, or at least find some kind of success. And let's face it- non of the winner has really made any sort of impact anywhere. For that she was better off not making it to the end anyways.

If we were being fair, CELIA would have been called first and PRINCESS TEYONA (who in Tyrant's eyes can do no wrong) belonged in the bottom 2 with AMINAT. Who btw, picture I really did dig after CELIA's. From looking at it from my TV screen, it looked like one of the best pictures (not to the mention the best angle I've seen her face), TEYONA has taken in the entire competiton. The reason to me why it may have looked a little weird is due to Tyrant's shotty ass photography skills and her brilliant decision to have a colorful exotic bird shoot shot in dreary Black & White. So going into the final stretch, I see TEYONA is getting the "stifled nonchalant girl who doesn't care for the camera" edit that Naima, Nicole, Bitchney, and Suckleisha all received. Her welling up at receiving her picture this week looks like a pre-cursor to how she'll perform in the CoverGirl commercial. I doubt Tyrant & Co. can keep her out of the final 2 all the way through, TEYONA will most likely be making her first appearance down there next week. Which will lead to her "epiphany" and newfound radiant personality.

And AMINAT just looked like absolute hell both in her face and in her pose. Honey was busted-when the hell has she ever caught the light in her face beautifully, I'm astonished to how she's made it this far. Tyrant's keeping her around for a reason and I can't figure out what. Cuz they definitely had a goal in mind for sparing AMINAT over CELIA.

Teyona so should have been in the bottom 2 last night. The favortisim is starting to get really annyoing. Celia was and is a great model, but lets be honest the big prize is 17 magazine spread and covegirl, Now she could possibly pull off covegirl [ Ellen & Drew do it] but how many girls could look at the cover of 17 and honestly relate to her? Aminat is the most 17ish they have left which is why I suspect they've dragged her along, even though I'm one of the few that think she's earned her spot there.

I liked Allison from Day 1. I loved her most recent photo with the bird's nest. I doubt that she will win though with all the favoritism toward Teyona. I don't really see what's so amazing about her.

I was pissed that Celia was sent home. She was interesting, wise, fashion savvy, level-headed, and intelligent. She was definitely robbed of the top 3 spot. Hopefully, she does well in the fashion world.

god, tyra and her damn ego. i wonder what the reason was behind it -

but, to be honest, i started feeling less and less satisfied with paulina as a judge as the cycles have gone on. initially, i loved her honesty and loved that she brought some fashion "gravitas" to the show, so to speak - she was a real, huge, successful supermodel (unlike ahem - janice dickinson who honestly just gained most her present fame through antm)

but paulina got way too bitchy over the cycles, and calling celia desperate on that last episode - that sort of crossed a line. if janice did something like that, it would be less hurtful because janice is all about TV and entertainment value and stirring drama and talking shit to people. so alot of her harsh coments can be taken with a grain of salt.

but because paulina often has a balanced viewpoint, the comment about celia's desperation came off very negative. almost rude. like european rude.

but that's nothing compared to the fact that she's been essentially a parrot over the past cycle. notice how she has totally backed tyra's comments on teyona.

paulina's bright - she knows how to keep her boss (ie tyrant) happy, and that's evidenced in her relative lack of dissent with tyra during judgings. i was at least hoping paulina would be the voice of reason on panel and disagree with all the teyona-love every once in a while. but she's played along the entire time, going on about how teyona has amazing ability and potential. blah.

so while i'm pissed that tyra pulled some ego shit and dropped paulina like a hot potato, i think it really is her time to go. she was getting to be like lukewarm water, just spitting out what she thought tyra wanted her to say.

she'll be able to take care of herself and should work for something more legit, instead of this farce of a show called antm (that i can't get enough of).

i hope they bring on a judge who makes more entertaining comments - like nole marin. can't get enough of that guy. hilarious.

Paulina did an interview for the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night and I happened to stumble across one of the transcripts where she basically said she was out of a job. They claimed it was due to production costs and mainly for the fact that she's turned into an impossible bitch and Tyra can't stand to work with her anymore. I agree with your assessment, we all knew sooner or later it would happen like that. I'm pretty salty as well that not only was Paulina such a cunt to CELIA with the whole "you should be my stylist" comment but I also didn't appreciate that she did become one of the parrots this cycle and kissed TEYONA's ass almost as rigorously as the rest. Despite of all that, I still believe Paulina was a breath of fresh air to the panel but whoever they pick to replace her most likely will be just as entertaining and honest as she was.

And I LOLled my face off when ALLISON stepped her pitiful self out on the runway. I dunno what the judges saw but her runway walk was as awful as it's always been. The dancing and the crawling part of the show saved her by a mile, but had it not been there, the end results would have been disastrous. But she did look stunning at the final deliberation with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. I see all of the girls who made the final 3 having rewarding modeling careers if they work hard enough for them. B/c all three of them are pretty special, one of the strongest top 3s since Cycle 6 and Cycle 10.

Yeah, we all saw that ending coming. Teyona looked pretty in the fashion show with the huge ponytail. But she looked dreadful during the commercial -- like she had a receding hairline.

And what are you talking about?? Allison's walk was like night and day! It was nowhere near the mess that was her walk before. I think we need to find a split screen or something. I'll agree with the judges in that she totally shocked me. I was expecting a slip or a stumble or something. And I was sort of hoping that Aminat would have made it (in place of Teyona, but we all know that wasn't going to happen) -- if she had anything going for her, it was her walk. But what the hell was up with the orgy at the end?

Oh, and during the fashion show, it was the first time I thought Allison looked hot. I always that she looked cute, but not hot until now.

And I ended up catching Paulina on Craig Ferguson (wow, what a terrible show). Is it ironic that someone told Paulina that they had to trim the "fat." I mean, come on, we all know it was Tyra...
