Singer and actress Kelly Osbourne, who helped Winehouse check into a drug addiction treatment facility in 2008, was one of many who grieved for the singer on Twitter.

"I cant even breath right now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy and will never forget the real you!" she tweeted.

It's really not too much of a shock, and I'm quite sad to admit that. But I really do feel sad for her and her soul. At the end of the day we are all humans and I love every human. Even eviltwin's dumb ass.

It's a tragic end for a gifted but troubled soul. My thoughts are with her family!

There's never any drama until you show up.

Ms. Drama always brings the drama with her. Before she showed up, it was all about mourning Amy's death. Then Ms. Drama shows up brings the sideshow act.

we had her for that little window of time and I will cherish her memories all the days of my life...a first kiss when Back to Black was playing... the night I sat on the kitchen floor crying because I was all alone to raise two little kids by myself/I told you I'm no good was my soundtrack during those rough days, weeks and months...but mostly the nights/the dark lonely nights but Amy Winehouse filled me with hope.

I never make fun of her or other drug addicts but I won't feel sorry for them either.
She had chances to get clean...and chose to go back to drugs every single time.
As I said before, this wasn't going to be a matter of if it happened but when.

Ive met Amy 4 times in the last 2 years she smiled but her eyes said a different story. I was happy to have met her in person. R.I.P Amy :(

Until you yourself or a loved one experiences any kind of addiction I guess you won't understand.

I'm only surprised she managed to drag it on for 28 years. I wonder if her parents blame themselves for how they were raising her? No parent should bury their child. What a tragic waste of a talented person.

I don't understand how they decide to take up a particular addiction.

And I wonder if the audience and the family (who spent and received a great deal of money) are complicit in the addict's self-destruction.
