LORD! That one is so fucking deep it's not even funny. May not seem that way for almost half of the episodes but the 2nd half...brace yourself to be brain-dead by the time you finish watching. Many have tried to wrap their heads around it but failed to understand it completely...so many philosophical, psychological and religious questions and symbolism.

I have to watch it again though. I watched the 26 episodes (I think that's the right number, if I'm not mistaken) in one day...non-stop, started in the morning, finished at night. I almost had a cerebral hemorrhage from thinking so much. It's a LOT to digest in one anime alone.

But it's definately a MUST WATCH anime. It's a classic and highly regarded as one of the very best anime ever made.

I watch all my anime online, i go to Anijiunkie.com, it have all espiode from japan that is subbed. i go there to watch One Piece, Bleach and Naruto

Well, I will very careful, I can become really obsessive with anime. (I still remenber when I saw Paranoia Agent in only one day)

Manga father. I didn't know about that films. Since they are in youtube, I will look for them, although I preffer his comics.

Anime Evolution 2009

Okay, guys! I was not sure where to put this.

I have a friend visiting me and he is into Anime cartoons (videos/books). He is going to the Anime Evolution Convention in Vancouver, BC. I am going to join him to see what it is like.

Is anyone going to it?

I'm going tomorrow (Saturday)! I've never been to a convention before (I just moved to Vancouver in October). I'll be attending with a couple of friends. :)

I bought my tickets way back in the day so they were actually really cheap ($40). I wanted to dress up but too little time, too little money. No matter, I do have some cash for buying things. I'm very excited, this is fulfilling a dream of mine. When I was 13 and living on the prairies I promised myself that one day I would go to an anime convention and, now, here I am! :)

I bought a Batman shirt at the convention hall as I did not like the shirt that I was wearing. At one point, I was heading out when I saw a large group of Batman's enemies: The Joker, The Riddler, The Penguin, etc.

Did you see the blond guy sitting in the chair with the two girls? Now, some people who were not there would not know what the heck I am talking about. This hot looking guy was sitting with two good looking girls for the whole day almost. He looked hot in his costume ;)

It was a fascinating experience for me.... The costumes gave me a few ideas for what I would like to wear next year instead of wearing normal clothes.

I picked up a few things myself. I had wanted an Akatsuki robe but decided against it until next year. I saw that group, too! My friends and I stopped to take a few photos. We took quite a few pictures yesterday.

A blond guy with two girls doesn't really ring a bell. Were they dressed up?

Did you see the two guys dressed up as Tidus and Yuna from Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2? Oh wow! So well done!

I also really enjoyed it, it was such a great experience. I really will have to go next year again. I already have a costume in mind. :D

The girls were not really dressed up.... I forget what the guy was dressed up as. He had a long greyish green coat. They were sitting on the chairs by Room 203/204 almost the whole day on Saturday.

I took some pictures of the Final Fantasy characters, especially those who gathered together for the photo shoot.

I want to go next year, as well...I have to figure out what costume to wear, though...
