This makes no senses to me.

Observant Muslims are served breakfast before sunrise and their evening meal is served after sunset. This time of year that means before 6AM and after 6PM- a 12 hour fast.

And if you're in poor health or in a situation where you can't be served your meals before the fasting period, you eat breakfast when you can and just do your regular prayers or you fast at a time when you're able to do so.

Here's the thing he doesn't get- fasting is not the important part- it's supposed do be about contemplating your frailties and showing compassion for others. You're not supposed to have negative thoughts, complain and whine about shit during Ramadan. The fasting is to make you appreciate the pain of others. He seems wholly unable to appreciate the actual real suffering of other people.

And as long as he keeps whining and pissing and moaning, they're going to keep him locked up.

And he's on day 2 of Ramadan. He's got 30 more days!

So sad for him.
