Ian Cramer, 42, faces manslaughter, fleeing an officer and other charges in connection with the incident in Mercer County, North Dakota, according to court records. His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the charges, which were first reported by The Associated Press.

A police pursuit of Cramer ended in a crash that killed sheriff deputy Paul Martin, who had taken cover behind his vehicle after laying a tire deflation device in the road, court documents said.

In a statement Wednesday, the Republican senator said that his son suffers from “serious mental disorders which manifest in severe paranoia and hallucinations," and that his family is grieving the death of the sheriff’s deputy.

Top Tucker Carlson producer accused of sexually assaulting Fox staffer

A former Fox News employee has sued the network and a top producer for former prime-time star Tucker Carlson, alleging that the senior staffer sexually assaulted and harassed him after promising to help advance his career.

In the lawsuit filed in New York State Court, Andrew Delancey claims that Justin Wells repeatedly grabbed his genitals at Wells’s apartment shortly after Delancey was hired in 2008, and that superiors dissuaded him from filing complaints.

A brief version of the suit — claiming assault and battery on the part of Wells, and negligence and sexual harassment on the part of Fox — was originally filed late last month, just ahead of a deadline for claims under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for civil complaints from sexual assault victims. The full complaint was filed Monday.

I recalled from the news stories running around the time of the Dominion settlement that two people had been fired: Carlson and one of his producers.

At the time, I didn't see the name of the producer but I assumed it was someone like Blake Neff or one of the producers who had been harassing Abby Grossberg (who was also suing Fox for harassment).

The guy who was fired with Carlson is Justin Wells, who was gay and yes, he's now the executive producer for Carlson's Xcrement streaming show.
