And the Affordable Health Care Exchanges are UP

I think that the FBI or the Koch Bros. has probably blocked your access. Wasn't it just a week or so ago that you couldn't get onto a site that demolished your point by providing the proof you were demanded...funny though that no one else had any difficulty.

BTW. I just visited the site again.

Maybe the tin foil is creating interference?

Since you live in Canada -- what state did you illegally choose?

Although, the volume is so high because of consumer demand that I suspect it may take some time for everyone to get through to the site....I also half expect that the Koch Bros. are likely trying to create Denial of Service problems for people trying to register.

I thought I'd try from your link. I did and it did. Here is a quote from the info page. First time I tried and no problem getting in.

Answer a few quick questions and we’ll provide the most relevant information for you before you apply for coverage in the Marketplace. We’ll also tell you your next steps.

Just to show I'm not lying.

Visited twice already this morning.

I think Jack is part of an effort to get people like us to keep the site busy by regularly dropping in to see if it is indeed working. It wouldn't surprise me if he hasn't tried to go to it at all, though if the point is to keep it busy he certainly would. But he needs about a hundred thousand clones, each getting a dozen people to keep visiting, to be effective -- so far I haven't had a problem at all. In fact, the site is more responsive than JUB.

Hit Rareboy's link, chose my state

Up and running with no problems of any kind.

I'm being honest, I hope that you are too. I still cannot get past the initial pages.

My screen cap. . . .

Two possible reasons: high volume or site is not designed well

In fairness:

Problems Persist on Second Day of Insurance Markets

Many state-run systems seemed to be functioning — albeit, in some cases, slowly and with scattered problems — but the federal system operating the exchanges for 34 states remained trouble-plagued. Consumers trying to log on to that system encountered long waits, malfunctioning Web pages and messages telling them to try again later.
...
But reports by government officials, consumers and private groups designated as “navigators” to help consumers use the system all indicated that relatively few people were able to establish accounts, and fewer still were able to go beyond that step to shop and compare plans. Even fewer were able to apply for coverage.
...
Officials said most of the initial volume consisted of people not yet looking to buy insurance policies, but just looking for answers about their eligibility for various programs, prices and choices.

I don't remember Jack's state. His trouble may be the exchanged decided upon by his State government.

Further, the site may be set to defeat casual inquiries.

Springer, are you trying to sign up for Obamacare and that's why you're so desperate about the website?

If there are people against Obamacare and aren't going to sign up, then why are they clogging the site?

I'm also having a lot of issues with the website -- and I've been trying since yesterday morning...

Georgia uses the Federal Registry -- so I'm part of the BIG one...

I've so far been able to set up a sign on -- and I've verified my email address -- and now it says that my sign in is wrong...

So -- basically -- I cannot even see the plans available...

Is anyone else stuck at this stage???

I heard 5million people went there and registered. That alone says people like the law.

I went in again to see if Jack spelled the url wrong. Ya know, Capitalizing HealthCare. But no, I got in with no problems.

Ok can we move beyond this discussion of the sites being up or their glitches to discuss the choices.let's assume the sites are working more or less..will you actually sign up for example and what level (silver bronze etc) will you take. Assuming some of you have no health insurance or inadequate...

I will let you know what plan i put my family members on after i sign up. Right now there are so many people attempting to get access to this thing republicans told us all Americans hate, that I cannot get in to check prices.

It is a good thing no one wants this and it isn't overwhelmed.

Wednesday morning, October 3. Web site is still not working.

Maybe Obama and Kit Kat need to call Apple or Google.

Springer, are you trying to sign up for Obamacare? You're desperate to access the site.

Well, Springer, I was just on there and got to the state plan I was looking for in about 30 seconds.

I suspect that some of the more recalcitrant states are not making it easy for people to sign on and that the shear volume of people desperate to get affordable healthcare coverage are leading to queuing on the main site....Oh...and I suspect that the House orhestrated shut-down of the government isn't helping either.

I just tried both Missouri and Kansas again ... no entrance.
