Any Other Ectomorphs Here?

Quit hating yourself and enjoy what you really have. Guys like you age slowly. Yes, it makes you very un-average, but you LAST. Learn to work with what you have and make the best of yourself. You can't swap bodies.

So, i'll appreciate this when i'm 57 years old, but i'll spend the next few decades having the majority of gay guys around me age - who're superficial and only like physically in-shape men - overlook me or harass me.

I can't understand why I don't feel good about this either. Now if you'll excuse me, i'll go look at every one of the "guys I find attractive" threads here and notice how they all have 20 lbs on me.

Welcome to the gay community.
I have grown used to being invisible. And most of the hot guys in my time are dead of aids. I, on the other hand, am alive and well. It is what it is. Yes, my youth wasn't what I wanted it to be. But in an ironic way, it spared me.

You and me both. Some things never change. The difference is that "I" learned to eventually accept that I'll never be like "someone else".
I never claimed that life is perfect, but it is easier when you learn to be OK with who you are. Though to be honest, Nom... it took me a long time to do that, too.

We could give you a workout that would make you more muscular and this might improve your opinion of what you see in the mirror. But I'm not sure that this would change how you feel about yourself.

There's a bit of body image distortion here but what's driving all of this is probably more related to how you feel about yourself and your mental self-image.

I stand by what I said earlier about you being in perfectly good shape, not what I could consider thin and certain you would have no shortage of guys wanting you.

Google "ectomorph transformation" and check out the first links to the threads at bodybuilding forum. I didn't read much into it, but quickly browsed it through. There were guys under 130lbs bulking up really well. Some of them recommended Mark Rippetoe's methods (Starting Strength) of lifting heavy and focus only on few big exercises.

*raises hand* Im 6'1 and 140 pounds, I use to have an issue with it but puberty fixed it for me by giving me a butt and some hips so now I'm curvier and have to embrace my body what ever it decides to do, and I have been instructed to put weight on and I do eat (I can shut down a buffet) . and my bf is obsessed with my body and <3's it so I am keeping it!
