No, what I facetiously call The Old Farts Club is a sort of "mature" gay men's fraternal organization-- The Prime Timers is their official name. It's just a group of guys that get together at restaurants, or meeting in the park, going to movies, and other activities. It's a good social group to hang out with, where the focus isn't politics or religion, etc.

Paul, am I right in guessing that there's not much of an Indian diaspora in Spain? Indian cuisine is very varied and is one of the great cuisines of the world, but I'm guessing that good Indian restaurants are difficult to find over there.

I agree with Frankie, having a group of friendly gay men sounds very nice, even if you don't see them very often. Sometimes I wish I could have that.
 
There are " friendly men " in my town but they're not gay they're boozer ravers who can't stay sober and I've tried to avoid them since the pandemic started because I got tired of their phoniness .... I'm used to being alone anyway . I also wish I could have a group of friendly actual pals but in this small town it seems unlikely .

Frankie, I agree with you that the young straight rowdy partier types aren't good to hang out with. A lot of them look hot, but many of them aren't interested in doing anything unless it's illegal and/or dangerous. I never understood the appeal of that. It may take a long time, but I bet you'll eventually find some good friends in your town.

Well, add mugginess to our heat. It's only 8:30, and I'm so sweaty that I had to take off my shirt. And all I'm doing is JUBBING on my laptop. It looks like one more hot day, and the temps will drop closer to normal, with some chances of rain early next week.
 
Hello John , yea those str8 fellas are interested only in getting buzzed with booze or with other harder drugs and partying for hours ... I got tired of their company as we only had a " faux friendship " . They never cared to actually get to know me ... One of them was hot ... maybe that is why I hanged out with them in 2017 and 2018

Paul, the weather continues to be hot, with the temp up to 88 degrees F 31 C. It's supposed to get briefly cooler, with the high on Thursday only going up to 76 F 24 C, and then warming up again.

Frankie, I remember those younger days of hanging around straight party boys and meaning nothing to them. Find yourself some sincere gay friends and maybe a good boyfriend. You'll be a lot happier.

well it's hard to find gay friends ... I had an only male best friend and he was gay too but we called it quits because he attacked me physically once ( mildly but to me that's something I can't tolerate ) so I had to be drastic and pretend he's dead to me ... He lived in Lima anyway and he never said he was sorry , but that was almost 8 years ago ...

Finding quality friends is hard for me whether they're gay or straight ...
