My mango tree keeps giving me far more fruit than I can eat. It probably means that I need to get busy with chopping them up, putting them in the blender, and freezing them. I just need to get busy with all that.

It is getting into the hottest part of the year. It hit 90 degrees for two days in a row, and I know from past experience that once it starts, it'll be this way through September. And the humidity is awful. On Sunday I got a quick sun shower that didn't cool things down because the sun came right out. All it did was to make it steamy. I'm happy that it watered my garden, but that's all it did. It's better when we get the big storms that cool things down for a few hours.

Speaking of gardening, on Saturday I put out the fertilizer on all my fruit trees, except for the mangos which are currently bearing. I usually wait until the bearing season is over, because fertilizer is supposed to adversely affect the flavor of the fruit. I was sweating, even though it was morning and all I did was walk around throwing fertilizer on the ground.

The dentist keeps texting me, saying things like he wants me to top him. We're supposed to get together later this week, but I'm not holding my breath.

An update on the dentist: Wednesday night I went over to his place. He was texting me and I just decided to go over there because I realized that I was tremendously bored staying at home. But July is when my sugar apple (anon in Spanish) and carambola/starfruit will bear, and they have extended bearing seasons, especially the carambola, which may bear continuously until next March.
